"Very disappointing visit booked a table for 6.30 on a Friday, placed order and drinks came quite quickly although i ended up with a pint and not the half I had ordered. Food order was taken and then we waited and waited and waited other people who had ordered after us we getting their food, so asked when we would be getting ours. The waitress was unsure what our order was, we had to correct her and she went off to check. Came back and said there had been technical issues and our food would not be long, the only technical issues I can see is that they had messed up our order. It was about an hour before we got our food. If you make a mistake or mess up own up and apologise don't just say it was a technical issue. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food was subpar, the service was lacking, and the atmosphere left much to be desired. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place based on my visit.

Thank you to the staff especially Dee who made our meal at the Dog and Partridge special. We had items from the Lunch Menu which had variety and the meals were well prepared and filling. Dee was welcoming and made our visit very enjoyable. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a spacious pub with a friendly atmosphere. Our waitress, Ele Grace, was very attentive, and the food was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone considering a visit. We also appreciated the complimentary glass of prosecco to celebrate our jubilee; it was a lovely touch. Voir le carte

We stopped by for a quick lunch and really enjoyed our experience. The interior was quite pleasant. I ordered a chicken burger, which was absolutely delicious, and I also had an Abbott beer that was excellent. The cost per person was between £10 and £20. Overall, the food deserves a 5, the service was a 5 as well, and the atmosphere rated a 4.

Gorgeous building and food, but very disorganised customer service, chaotic. Rooms are dated but great size and comfortable. Some minor health and safety considerations needed.
