"As you drive into the car park at Signatures, you may wonder if you’ve made the right choice for dinner. Yes, it’s a restaurant that’s at a “holiday home resort” – and that’s a posh caravan park to you and me. But, fear not, we’d been here before and know that it punches above its weight, making it one of the better restaurants along the coast. The menu is well rooted in “Modern British” food which means it occasionally makes a leap away from the comfort of Northern Europe. As in a starter of king prawns, dressed in a quite pokey satay sauce, served with a crispy noodle salad. It worked. As did a lobster bisque which had the richness of the one you get in jars at Waitrose but enhanced with small bits of lobster. It’s accompanied with a small slice of toast, topped with mayo, crab and prawns. Sirloin steak was accurately cooked as requested but could have done with a bit of seasoning. It came with classic accompaniments – nicely cooked “fat chips”, grilled cherry tomatoes and a field mushroom.. “Trio of lamb” was a good representation of the modern classic of “meat three ways”. A couple of slices of perfectly pink fillet. Some long cooked shoulder. And breast, also long cooked, then pressed, breaded and fried to crisp. That came with “Palouise” potatoes – Google doesn’t find that term but it seemed be a boiled potato topped with buttery gloop (no, I wasn’t a fan). But it’s more than made up for by Savoy cabbage, roasted carrot and a lovely rich sauce. We often pass on dessert but not this time. Two classics on the menu, Firstly sticky toffee pudding – it’s rare to see a menu these days which doesn’t have it on. And, most times, it’s not worth the calories. But, here, it’s a delicious light sponge, pretty much perfect butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream, Homemade “Arctic Roll” and jelly will whisk a generation of Britons back to their childhood. Ice cream surrounded by sponge was fine. The fruit jelly was excellent – really fruity rather than just generic “sweet”. Good coffee to finish."

"Got stuck in a horrible traffic jam and decided to pay this pub a visit. Very glad I did, the staff and premises are lovely. Dog friendly too. Had an absolutely delicious lunch, the Jaffa cakes sundae dessert was utterly delicious and the coffee excellent. Definitely visiting again as everyone I spoke to was delighted with the other dishes they tried. Really recommended for a lovely meal in a spotless and well kept place. Walkability: Easy to get to from either of the local towns. Food drinks: Excellent, and my mum is hard to please she loved it. Noteworthy details: Nice views, lovely staff. Dog friendly and very nicely kept business . Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Kid friendly, Great value"

"A Charming Seaside Retreat The Beach Pavilion Cafe in Llanfairfechan is a delightful spot right on the promenade, offering breathtaking views of the sea. "I'm a long term customer and did not want to write this review as the food is tasty with good portion sizes. The problem? Everything is good/as expected when ordering, however it all falls apart when you go to collect. Having ordered over the phone your told a rough time to collect 20 mins, 30mins, 45 mins etc, this is fine, then you go to collect at the appropriate time and find yourself waiting, sometimes for a very, very long time. This has increasingly got worse over the months. It used to be 10 15 mins on occasion, now its every time, with my average wait around 45 mins after the time I'm told it would be ready. This waiting issue now happens every time. While in there, I've heard multiple customers on multiple occasions complain that they've been waiting over two hours past their collection time and personally witnessed a number of customers demand their money back due to waiting so long. The frustrating part is this is so easy to avoid. Instead of telling people their food will be ready in 20 mins and lying to them, tell them it will be 45 mins or an hour. I wont be returning unfortunately."

"I had the vegan breakfast and my family had the big breakfast and the traditional brealfasts. It was amazing, the hashbrowns were soft and crisp and they had vegan black pudding I don 't remember what black pudding tastes like but my family tried it alongside real black pudding and said it was remarkably similar Wasn 't keen on the scrambled tofu, was a bit bland except for termeric, but I 'm not fond of tofu. The vegan sausages were great, they had skins and tasted really nice. There was a good variety of items, hallumi would have been nice and the fried baby plum tomatoes went really well. Big teapot had two cups of tea and they provided refills of hot water and a choice of oat or soya milk as well as normal milk. Also gave complimentary homemade shortbread with the tea, all vegan but tasted buttery with a hint of orange. Everyone was full and really enjoyed their breakfasts."
