"We had lovely stay here. We stayed for days in a deluxe room with half board and the main thing that made our stay special was the nice staff! The staff went out of their way for us. The reception was very friendly and helpful, for example when we needed help buying tickets. Also the cleaning staff was friendly and the rooms were spotlessly clean. The restaurant had a romantic yet informal atmosphere and also there the staff was super friendly, both for breakfast and dinner. The food was great, my favorites being the sformatino, ravioli and tiramisu. The menu was a bit limited to choose from for days but they solved this perfectly. We also felt they served us with a nice personal touch. For example when a nice wine was delivered they recommended this to us based on our picks on the nights before. The location of the hotel is perfect. We used it as a base to discover Florence, tuscany and relax a little by the pool. It's very easy to reach the centre of florence with the bus that stops in front of the hotel. Also all other highlights such as Lucca, Arezzo, Siena and chianti were within hour and minutes drive by car. The room was also good and had all the amenities you need. The bed was comfortable. The room was not super big but in line with the pictures on the website and we had a lovely view. Two downsides: the pool area is big enough if you want to chill in the morning but at the end of the day it might get a little crowded and you might not have a pool bed available. And the parking space was a bit limited. You can park on the hill next to the hotel but for a dutchie like me not used to hills that was a bit uncomfortable. If you are looking to get away from the buzz of the city and for a romantic stay I would highly recommend this hotel!"

all very beautiful and also the location is suggestive. only flaw is the access for the disabled that is quite complicated.

Had a light lunch, combination of salads and pasta served in the restaurant to avoid the wasps on the terrace. Service was good and professional could not fault the food, Cost is as you would expect for hotel meals relatively expensive Voir le carte

Absolutely perfect: roastbeef carpaccio, an order of Pomodori alla Parmigiana, and a plate of salamis and crostini. Delicious. Followed by an exquisite apple streudel for each of us. Breakfast the next morning, also fine, although a bit late, so the eggs were all gone!

Fabulous location high above Florence. Had dinner on the outdoor patio. Everything was outstanding until the entree was served. 3 in our group had ordered lamb which was so tough that it could not be cut with a steak knife. Management quickly replaced the meals, but timing was then off for everyone. Odd that the kitchen would allow the dishes to be served. Otherwise excellent.
