Derk's Filet And Vine

I used to visit this restaurant often in the past, but it's been some time since my last visit. Unfortunately, the fried fish and hamburger steak were both overcooked. I was very disappointed considering each plate cost $15.00.

Great place for a quick lunch spot. Food is delicious; portions are large. Very quick for take out, or they have tables in the store as well. Great choices of protein and sides to fit every taste whether its Southern or on the healthy side :

I had a great experience at this restaurant. They offer beer and a variety of food options, including a meat market and a buffet similar to Subway. The half chicken, mashed potatoes, peas, sweet potatoes, and roll that I had were all delicious. I would definitely return to this place. Voir le carte

My wife and would usually go there on Saturday to eat lunch. They have a line you choose from several types of meat and lots of vegetables. They have tables for you to sit and eat. They have a meat counter for meat for you to cook. They all kinds of beers and drinks for sale. We go there for their meat and three vegetables.

This is an awesome place to eat. They serve the food cafeteria style, and they give you more food than you can eat. The chopped sirloin with gravy and onions is great; the smothered new potatoes are divine; and the turnips and collards are delicious. It is very reasonably priced. If you like vegetables, you will like this restaurant.

Dinged it before for being pricey but I think everybody else caught up! Right in line with comparable eateries. Meat choices are outstanding both in choice and preparation, plenty veggie choices and it being cafeteria style, quick in and out. Food bar is always fresh and full. The restaurant was bustling, indicating that the food is likely fresh and delicious. The food we ordered was indeed very good, fresh, and served in generous portions. The meat options were of excellent quality. We also tried a slice of the caramel cake, which was exceptionally tasty. They offer cakes for purchase to take home, so we bought half a red velvet cake and half a butternut cake to share with our family. They were highly impressed with the quality. Overall, the meal was a great value for the high-quality food.

I 've stopped twice at Derks when driving through Montgomery. IMO, it 's worth the brief detour. Best Reuben sandwich I 've had in AL! If deli food isn 't your vibe, they also have a 'meat 3 type menu. Our group also meandered through their extensive craft beer section and found lots to like, for me a six pack of Sweet Baby Jesus. They had outside seating. The service was excellent. I don 't recall if they had marked COVID distancing, but it was not crowded and was easy to socially distance. There were lots of locals who were clearly regular customers. I understand why!

Interestingly eclectic space which combines a small Neighborhood market, butcher shop, a wine store, and a deli with an extensive hot food bar fullOf yummy southern comfort foods, delicious broad spectrum of made to order sandwiches including a Cuban and Banh Mi. They also have a friendly, helpful staff. We had Banh Mi (not exactly like I have had before, but very tasty) served with some yummy chips and we topped it off with a slice of Italian cake which was a genuine slice of heaven. There are plenty of tables available and real cutlery so you don’t have to fumble w/plastic junk. Worth the quick trip From downtown. Voir le carte
