"We arrived for a Sunday breakfast at just after 10am, a slightly larger group 5 people and 1 child. Plenty of space here, which was maybe odd as many German brunch places are very popular on Sundays. The decor is quirky but kind of cute, and the places seemed like it was a reasonable level of cleanliness, the table was wiped but it didn't scream "hygenic". The person serving us seemed irritated and was overall rude, unwelcoming and unfriendly. Our server wasn't patient when it came to taking our drinks orders and we all ended up getting our drinks at totally different times. There were a few mistakes with which drinks had been ordered. The coffees were watery, the milk was over frothed and the cups were dirty with coffee splashes and parts of the drinks dripping down the side. My friend and I ordered the "Platzhirsch" to share the dish description was "a mix of all the good things". We asked if it was possible for it to be ordered vegetarian, and she said it wouldn't be a problem , she also clarified if eggs would be ok, and we told her that would be fine. Eventually the food arrived some of the dishes arrived a great deal later than others so it took a while until we could all begin our meal. Our dish looked like someone had thrown a whole packet of cheese slices on a giant plate then some watery fruit slices as decoration. There were also two hard boiled eggs in egg cups, some watery lettuce, some blobs of butter and two little dishes with marmalade and jam. There were also two cheese based creams, I don't actually know what was in them as the waitress refused to tell us, one of a green colour and one was a pinky colour. When our server first were brought out our dish she told us she would still bring out the fish, we both looked confused and my friend clarified that we had ordered vegetarian version the dish. The server then proceeded to have a small disagreement with my friend over what it means to be vegetarian and that we were doing it wrong. She then continued to make snide comments for the next few minutes to us , as she served other customers around us. One of the sauces tasted like fish as we asked what was in it? (we asked the other people at the table and they also agreed it tasted like fish) our server smelled it and carried it around for a while and told us it was certainly not fish and that we were confused because of the chives in the sauce , when I told her that it was actually dill to which she had no response.The service continued to be rude, having dishes slammed onto the table, second drinks orders taken in a very rude manner and many mistakes made and no apologies given. The food tasted pretty average and not that fresh, the bread was also not that good, the meal wasn't very diverse. 15 slices of cheese is soo much cheese and in turn bread for two people, and we didn't even order a cheese platter which was also an option on the menu . it cost too much for the quality too. Not impressed, would not return.Also the toilets were really dirty!!!"

Sehr gutes Frühstück, ich hatte die Omlette mit allem, alles frisch , Lachs war top. Leckeres Salatdressing.

...am Platze! Hier gibt es gemütlichr Wohnzimmer-Atmosphäre und gute Küche, so wie früher bei Oma. Im Hahn Dithmarscher Pils, kann man trinken.

Die Kellnerin war unmotiviert und unfreundlich, nach dem Motto "bin hier allein, habe sowieso keine Zeit". Für zwei Omeletten und ein Müsli fast eine Strande gewartet. Schade!

Die ruhige, sonnige Lage und das Ambiente sind sehr angenehm und entspannend. Die Küche kann die gehobenen Ambitionen leider nicht einlösen. Weniger Originalität besser umgesetzt wäre mehr. Trotzdem ein nach Feierabend von uns immer wieder bevorzugter Ort mit netten Leuten.

Schon mehrfach habe ich im Platzhirsch gegessen und muss sagen, es war immer sehr gut. Ohne großes Tamtam, ehrliche, gute, deutsche, fast bürgerliche Küche. Das Personal war immer freundlich und die Atmosphäre ist ebenfalls sehr angenehm, nicht betont abgeschrammelt, aber auch nicht überstylish.

Nettes Familien-geführtes Lokal am ruhigen Arkonaplatz. Viele Plätze draußen laden zu einem leckeren Essen und einer Flasche Wein 'auf der Straße' ein. Drinnen wartet eine Stube mir Möbeln aus Omas Zeiten. Gute, solide Hausmannskost mit ein paar kreativen & modernen Einflüssen. Entspannter, aber aufmerksamer Service. We arrived around lunch time and were given the menus. I asked the waiter to clean our table since it was dirty from the people sitting there before we arrived. The waiter disappeared for more than half an hour. When we called him and wanted to order our lunch, he said that the kitchen just closed and it is too late to place an order. I don't need to mention that our table was never cleaned and did not look like it is cleaned regularly.

Spontaner heutiger Besuch hat sich sehr gelohnt: in angenehmer ruhiger Atmosphäre konnten wir im Platzhirschen sehr lecker zubereitet und gewürztes Essen genießen: Hirsch und Blutwurst, einmal mit Kürbisgnocchi und einmal mit Kartoffel-Kürbisbrei. Sehr, sehr lecker. Gute Beratung zu den Weinen. Nur der Tisch war nicht ganz so optimal, da es ein Terrassentisch war, der drinnen aufgestellt wurde. Zudem saß man etwas im Durchgang zur Hinterstube und zur Küche.
