All great, very kind and attentive service. The pumpkin soup, horse steak, and the unknown appetizer were all great (don’t go for the burgers, not so great)! We highly recommend the place for lunch/dinner (even if it is a little bit on the expensive side).

Das kleine Dorf Chancy höchstens Western Tipp der Schweiz. Einige 16 km vom Stadtzentrum von Genf können Sie erwarten Sie gesund auf dem Land Essen. Nicht so das Cafe de la Place bietet hoch anspruchsvolle Gerichte von einwandfreier Qualität. Mittagessen (Mittwoch bis Freitag) sind besonders dort von Vorteil aber Sie werden immer begeistert von der Gerichte von der Koch. Voir le carte

Accueil sympathique de la patronne. Agréable terrasse d'été aux chaises colorées même si on est sur le couloir aérien de l'aéroport de Geneve donc un peu bruyant par moment. Petit parking à proximité immédiate. Les prix sont un peu élevés. En proposition du jour à l'ardoise, bon gaspacho en entrée avec du poulpe facturé tout de même 25 FRS. Le filet de perche à la carte est bien servi avec une sauce excellente. Glaces et sorbets maison excellents. Le tout pour 75 FRS. Service (trop) lent. Pour ces diverses raisons (cout, lenteur) je mets une note moyenne mais cela ne remet pas en cause la qualité des produits et la technicité du chef.

Es gibt viele versteckte Juwelen in den Dörfern rund um Genf, und das ist einer von ihnen. Wir hatten ein schönes Familienessen hier, sitzen auf der üppigen Terrasse im Hinterhof. Die Amuse Bouche war wirklich schön, und dann versuchten einige von uns Les Filets de Perche und einige das Rindfleisch. Es war alles lecker. Die Desserts, die wir am Ende hatten, waren alle sehr gut. Die Preise sind etwas schwer, sie scheinen für Dorfrestaurants in der Gegend leicht über dem Durchschnitt zu liegen. Ich hätte gerne eine Salle oder eine Art Greens mit den Filets de Barsch auch, aber insgesamt war es eine schöne Erfahrung, wenn auch etwas überteuert. Wir freuen uns darauf, diesen Ort in diesem Winter...

We arrived on our roadbikes on a Sunday, hungry and looking forward to a nice lunch on the terrace. The waitress was friendly and quickly took our order. About 20 minutes later, the patronne arrived at our table and claimed only she could take food orders, and we were in a queue behind others. Not a good start, seemed rather odd and inefficient... Our drinks arrived 35 minutes after sitting down. When we enquired when our salads and plate of cold hams would be arriving (we 'd been there 40 minutes , we were told this was not a restaurant where you should be in a hurry. In the meantime, the table next to us, who’d had a large 3-course lunch and wine, asked to pay. They were told no credit car... Voir le carte
