I have not found any bad gelato yet in Italy. This was excellent and worth seeking out. I had the Tiaramisu and would recommend it

Absolutely superb ice cream and the selection is top notch. The pistachio is so devine and the coconut is amazing. Lovely cheerful staff too

This Gelataria is one of the two in the area which is open late. We tried the Tiramisu, Strawberry, Mint, Nutella, Kinder and Chocolate Chip and they all were good!! In addition to Gelato they have also an extensive option of cakes, pancakes and other deserts.

Perfect place for a sit down dessert . The menu was just amazing. We had the caramel sundae , banana split and a milkshake . Place was very clean with lots of seating . Staff were very efficient..even had a chat with the man himself. Will definitely be going back to try the waffles Voir le carte

This is amazingly delicious gelato! We shared 3 flavours (tiramisu, salted caramel and Citrus). Each was tasty fresh! We especially like this spot because it was down a side street from Corsa Italia so not overcrowded like ones in the main tourist area. Do yourself a favour and find this spot when in Sorrento!

We went to David Gelateria as a part of a Cosmos tour, the first week of Oct '23. This was one of the highlights of the trip. The tour included a Gelato Class taught by Mario. Mario is full of personality, and you can see why his store is so successful. He had all 28 of us involved and laughing at his humor and sense of passion for the making of gelato. Of course Gelato is on everyone 's list of what to eat in Italy and David Gelateria should be at the top of what to do in Sorrento. BTW, I had the Pistachio. Outstanding

This spot is perfect for a refreshing gelato and they do excellent 'English tea ' (this means mashed with the teabag in the boiling water and cold milk in a jug)! It 's less than 5 minutes walk from the bus station, so ideal for a reviving ice-cream or cuppa. They have a clean, wheelchair accessible toilet and the whole place is level access. Tables are inside or outside under an awning. Massive choice of delicious gelato with colour coded dots so they can advise which ones are suitable for vegan, kosher and gluten free diets.
