"My wife and I dined at this restaurant on Thursday evening, and everything from the moment we walked in until we left was exceptional. The food was outstanding and incredibly flavorful. This is arguably the best Indian food I've enjoyed in years. I opted for their banquet, and each of the four courses was a delightful experience. "Cafe vino is just over the road from where we live, we are regulars in the Cafe vino and have always found the food to be excellent and the service first class, to us it is like being with family and friends, Luigi, Davida and the chef Guan franco (forgive me if I've spelt the names wrong) and all the staff do a great job and often go the extra mile in bringing a little piece of Italy in Tewkesbury. "I attended the Cheltenham Races Festival and stayed in Tewkesbury. I had visited this restaurant last year and was eager to return this year. I was not disappointed at all. The food was of top quality, cooked perfectly by a very talented chef. This is true, hearty food - steak, fish, vegetables, potatoes. The menu also offers a variety of starters such as soup, prawns, and scallops, all presented and prepared to the highest standards. During my 4-night stay, I dined at this restaurant 3 times, enjoying the steak twice and the chicken breast on the other occasion. Each night, I savored the divine profiteroles for dessert. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, providing exceptional service. They attend to you promptly and go above and beyond to ensure you have a great dining experience. The prices are reasonable, and I look forward to returning next year."

"What a great find. I have previously eaten at the other four Indian restaurants that reside in Tewkesbury and to be honest, found them all to be, very average. I had the Naga Curry, super-hot but incredibly tasty. Do yourself a favour and give this restaurant a try, its head and shoulders better than all the other Indians in Tewkesbury. "Very welcoming my husband is in a wheelchair so we were accommodated in the restaurant rather than the coffee and cake shop. Coffee was lovely and hot the teacake was excellent served with soft butter rather than bullet butter, so we could eat that hot as well. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair provided by garden centre. Just about accessible with a manual wheelchair as there are inclines in one part which is why we were offered the restaurant."

"We have been coming here for years but unfortunately I think it must have changed hands and has gone rather downhill. We were very disappointed. Firstly we reserved a table. No-one seemed aware and we were told a table of 4 was available. We had the carosel cream tea (had many times before) and there was no egg mayo available which we werent told about when we ordered it, they had to come back over and tell us. The waitress didn't know what kind of cakes were available (and made no effort to find out) so I had to get up, walk over to the fridge, find out and tell everyone back at the table. When the food arrived, all the cakes were paired up with the wrong sandwiches so we had to swap it all around on the stands ourselves. To be fair, the sandwiches were good (which is why I've given this 2 stars). The little touches just aren't there any more either: the cups were all chipped, the sugar cubes and little tongs are gone and replaced with sachets, the staff were not as friendly or helpful as usual, no atmosphere or background music. We all left rather disappointed."
