Daitokai Restaurant Berlin

Nice dinner with teenagers. Smiley staff, good food and smooth service. Not too groudeed on Sunday evening. Sushies were ok, otherwise food was good, especially vegetables.

Busy restaurant on the Tuesday night we visited,good food but pricey.Received good service by staff.Some dishes were cooked in front of you by the Chefs,others prepared in the kitchen. Well varied menu.

Daitokai offers a great Tepanjaki show for its guests. You need to take the full menus option for 77 Euros otherwise you'll leave the place still hungry. But if your willing to do so you'll enjoy perfect service and highest food quality!

Daitokai is a true revelation. Traditionally your meals are prepared at your table. The show is part of the experience. Qualify is very high but you should opt for the 4-5 course menu (60 - 77 EUR per person). Anything else will either not satisfy you or you will only get part of the show.

All food is prepared fresh in front of the guests by a changing crew of cooks. The service is friendly and very attentive. We had the normal menu (with extra sushi) - good value for money. We drank a very acceptable Grauburgunder (Rheinhessen) for a reasonable 23.00 €.All in all a pleasant experience and tasty food.

Food is good, simply asian dishes, but taste very well. Prepared at your table, so you can watch how things are done.Staff - smilling, friendly.Venue - quite dark, not fresh any more, rather dusted and smoked. Be sure you will smell you clothes day afterPrice/value - quite expensive, comparing to the amount of food you got. Don't expect to eat a lot

Wandered in after exploring the area and was impressed by the food and ambience. Had low expectations as I hadn't read anything online about this place but was immediately surprised by how authentically Japanese this felt (multiple Japanese tourists were enjoying the restaurant at the same time as we were). The food was very fresh, the wait staff we encountered were all Japanese and the prices were very reasonable. Would give 4.5 if possible. Strongly recommend.

Before you visit this place make sure you will do reservation a day before its always fully booked.Service was nice, as starter i got sushi, than a fish plate which came with two types of fish salmon and i think cod scallops and shrimps, stake with duck and orange sauce everything was cooked there by chef i was disappointed a bit expecting a show actually there was no show they just cook it and that's it. Food was delicious but portions were so small and pricey we left place hungry!!

We're there on a Friday night (best to reserve a table) and we enjoyed it from beginning to the end: the delicious food, the wonderful staff, the amazing location, the great amorsphere, the top-notch service... Everything Was just great!It almost feels like you're in Japan, a country that I personally love a lot.They have various vegetarian alternatives and also their wine selection is nice.Went to Daitokai in Köln and already loved it back then so I can go there anytime , always a real pleasure! :)The prices are not cheap but bearing in mind what they offer, it's worth every penny!
