"I went along to Trastevere in search of some typical Roman food and happened along this place. Without internet I had to go by menu alone, what transpired is that another review website rates this very highly amongst locals and tourists alike. Although Yelp doesn't have it lists yet, naughty Yelp! I played tourist and went for their tourist menu of anti pasti, primo, secondo and dolci. For anti pasti I chose the bruschetta con pomodorro, which was one of the finest I've ever tasted. For the pasta course I had rigatoni con arrabiata. Perfectly spicy with just the right amount amount of salt and served perfectly al dente. For the main (secondi) course I had the saltimbocca. My goodness. I've never tried this before, but it was a taste revelation, I NEED to find somewhere in Manchester that serves this!! My dolci was a fruit salad, followed by a ristreto. To accompany my dinner I had some Roman white sparkling wine which was fantastic, and upon paying my bill also a shot of limoncello. For all of this my bill came to less than 30 euros. Rome I love you for the quality and the value. UK, please step up!!"

Went and had the Vittorio pizza and vittorio salad. The food was very good. The salad had arugula in it which tasted really good with it. The pizza had a nice flavor to it as well. I would recommend it to everyone.

What a wonderful treat! Good food off the beaten path away from tourists! Perfect for lunch between a Papal audience in the morning a Vatican tour in the afternoon. Staff was friendly, restrooms clean food delish they even adapted menu items for us to accommodate our taste!

First of all, fabulous service. We walked in around 8:45, were full, but seated us in half the time it said it would take. Secondly, fabulous food. I got a marina pizza and husband got carbonara and the look on his face was pure bliss. Finally, FABULOUS price. Half the cost of anything back in America. Go here over any other places in the neighborhood. You'll thank us later.

We had a great dinner at Da Vittorio! Started off with a bottle of wine, truffle Pate (wow), burrata and a suppli. All delicious! For dinner we had the meatballs and then pasta arrabbiata. Dessert we had tiramisu, which I will say I 've had better. The cream almost was too 'pudding ' like instead of being light and fluffy. However, everything else was great and they gave complimentary limoncello. Voir le carte

Currently writing this to pass the time as we have been neglected for almost an hour, we got our food and the waiter has not glanced our way since. We had the burrata as an appetizer which was good and each had pasta for dinner. Carbonara portion was big however the fettuccine and caccio Pepe were quite small. The food was decent for the price but really wish the service had been better, especially considering it was not very busy. (Update, finally was able to wave someone down after over an hour and it took another 30 for the bill to be brought to us)

This restaurant was incredible. I ordered the prosciutto, bruschetta, zuppa di fagioli (soup wit beans) and the Sicilian salad. The soup had a rich and flavorful broth, although it was a bit salty, and it also had two slices of a brioche like bread dipped in olive oil. The ricotta on the Sicilian salad was creamy and to die for. The sundried tomatoes were also delicious. However, the service at Da Vittorio impressed me the most. The waiters accommodated our group of 14 extremely quickly the appetizers came almost immediately, and the main dishes came in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend.

Quaint street side cafe that was a refreshing break from the crowded hustle and bustle of daily life. Started with a Suppli which is a fried rice ball stuffed with mozzarella cheese and a tomato sauce, it reminds me of the filling of a stuffed pepper and it was hot cheesy and delicious. My pasta of choice was Gricia which was spaghetti with bacon pecorino cheese and pepper, I loved it especially with the pecorino and pepper it was a great smooth flavor definitely worth you trying.Husband had the Carbonara and he said it was fantastic. My recommendation is of your in the area stop by and you will be happy you did. Voir le carte

Great place for a quick lunch or an afternoon meeting. Went for a lunch meeting and had a great meal. What makes Da Vittorio stand out from the plethora of other restaurants in the area is the daily specials. On the first page of the menu are a list of the pastas and secondo of the week. The specials range from local delicacies to more conventional and provincial dishes. The pasta, fresh and tasteful, is really well prepared and arrives at the table in lightening speed. Hence, the real emphasis on business lunch dinning. The atmosphere is not luxurious, and if you 're looking for more of a dining destination sort of place there are other restaurants in Trastevere that offer more ambiance and...

This is a difficult review, because honestly to food is WONDERFUL! We've been in Rome for two weeks, living just a couple hundred meters away from the restaurant. And have eaten there five times already..... But the Service during the Day IS JUST HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! its beyond HORRIBLE! It is non-existent. We went today, about an hour after it opened to get a main, salad and drinks. The place was COMPLETELY EMPTY! (See pictures) it was 28degrees, so we asked it we could sit in the shade. There was one table that was a four top, half in the shade. The waitress said she'd have to check, and returned to say ABSOLUTELY NOT, WE CANT! What's the issue? We could split the table, not hard! We even offe...

"Ambiance: -1/5! Food: 2/5 Staff: 1/5 Location: 0/5 Building: 1/5 Wine Selection: 1/5 Value: 2/5 This is quite possibly the saddest restaurant I’ve been to in the last 5 years. I went as a curiosity but won’t be returning and certainly won’t advise anyone else to go here. The location is on a busy road with terrible visibility. The parking lot is nonexistent. The area where you can “perhaps” leave your car and hopefully find it when you return, had employees from Le colonne restaurant throwing trash at each other from the back entrance. We had to dodge trash to walk up to the main entrance. I hope they at least washed their hands... Not a good first impression but I tried to shake it off. The food was nice, but a bit over salted and truly didn’t give any higher level of satisfaction than the pizzeria across the street. It seems ridiculous that the entire menu is surrounded by cheese. If you aren’t obsessed with cheese — don’t go here. No one asked our table if we had allergies or intolerances... No other solutions were offered. Tried an antipasto, pizza, pasta, dessert and wine. Nothing made me want to come back for more. The staff seemed polite but overall agitated to be there. One server came at the beginning to remind us of the things that “got them the star” which came across as sad and desperate. Throughout service a server would often throw knives and forks on the table instead of quietly placing them near us. This seemed a bit unsettling to me. Upon exiting 3 employees just standing by the door as we left with elderly people. They did not say thank you, good day, nor help with the door just kept to their private conversation. The building is in a serious need of a makeover. The style is 30+ years old and the bathrooms seemed to be on a Trenitalia train. Toilet paper everywhere and one seat slightly broken. The music was playing loudly in one room and not at all throughout the rest of the restaurant which made for an incredible awkward ambiance. As I’m continuing to think of other flaws which I’ll keep to myself because this is enough, I’m still in shock that people could think this place is worthy of any type of celebration..."
