"Wir wollten zum Abschluß unseres Urlaubes noch schön Eswen gehen und haben diesen Griechen gefunden.Nachdem wir das Küchenpersonal gesehen haben, welche eher an Bauarbeiter erinnerten, als an qualifizierte Köche, waren wir schon etwas skeptisch geworden, wollten den Menschen dort trotzdem eine Chance geben.Aber mit der Vorspeise war dann die gute Laune dahin, denn in der Hühnersuppe haben wir ein sehr großes Stück Plastikfolie gefunden. Nachdem wir das moniert haben kam keine Entschuldigung. Nichts.Bei den dann folgenden Hauptspeisen würde sich so mancher Grieche im Grabe drehen, denn das was uns dort angeboten wurde war eine Frechheit. Dosengemüse, was lauwarm war, Pressfleisch, Gummi-Scampi und und und. Es war eine KatastropheNachdem wir den Kellner darauf hingewiesen haben und er ratlos vor uns stand, haben wir die Rechnung verlangt. Wofür eigentlich? Das habe ich dem Herrn auch ganz klar vermittelt. Jedenfalls stand auf der Rechnung eine Summe von 68,40 Euro. Ich habe, da ich das Geld ja nun nicht passend habe, 70 Euro hingelegt, ohne ein Wort zu sagen. Der Kellner daxhte dann tatsächlich, das der Rest sein Trinkgeld ist. Ich habe ihn darauf hingewiesen, dass ich das Restgeld gerne haben möchte.Frechheit!!Ich kann jedm nur raten einen großen Bogen um dieses sogenannte Restaurant zu machen."

"Zum Geburtstag meiner Mutter zum Mittagessen gewesen. Daher leider auch einige Erwartungen daran gesetzt und enttäuscht worden. Service so lala, sehr unmotiviert, wohl aufgrund der wenigen Gäste. Bestellt wurde gemischter Salat mit Thunfisch, Carpaccio und Tris Pasti. Als Aperitivo Campari Orange auf Eis. Eis fehlte völlig, serviert in einem Wasserglas und lauwarm. Carpaccio geschmacklich gut, wenn auch sehr klein für den Preis und ohne Rucola. Der Salat leider eine Katastrophe! Liebloser Blattsalat, darunter ein Klumpen Thunfisch (wohl die Form der Dose noch erkennbar), das ganze ertränkt in einem sogenanntem Joghurt Dressing, das eher nach saurer Sahne und Mayonnaise schmeckte. Teilweise leider ungenießbar. Der Höhepunkt allerdings die Tris Pasti. Spaghetti Napoli geschmacklich sehr gut, Tomatensauce frisch und einfach lecker. Die Cannelloni allerdings nicht wie bestellt Ricotta und Spinat, sondern Kürbis. Das ganze scheinbar in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt, da komplett trocken und an den Enden sogar hart. War wohl noch ein Gruß aus dem alten Jahr. Nach Reklamation allerdings eine neue Cannelloni bekommen, absolut frisch und auch geschmacklich sehr gut. Vielleicht aus Scham, oder auch nur vergessen, fehlte auf der Rechnung die Flasche San Pellegrino. Schade, gibt definitiv bessere Italiener. Selbst in Bad Steben.."

"A very popular place with locals and visitors to this spa town. Most tables are reserved. Get there extra early, suggest at opening time, if you hope to have decent service. I was in town three nights and on the first night I sat in the center of the place at a table for two and stared right at the bar area and was totally ignored for 15 minutes. Not even a hello. I walked out. I had a disappointing meal at the local Greek place. So the next evening I went back, early, and sat at a table in the spacious garden, which was all reserved or full except for a four top tall table that I had to myself, sort of a waste of space if you ask me. The pizza was only so-so, I didn't see what all of the fuss was about there. Crust was odd. Didn't care for it. Returned on my third and final night, arrived just after opening time. Again sat at a four top which was not reserved and saw couples coming and going without getting a table. Table or space management here is strange. The pasta dishes likewise, my bolognese was prepared without imagination. Just pretty bland but still, somewhat surprisingly, a very popular place. Beer was good! However, if I were to return to Bad Steben I would probably eat elsewhere, not that I saw that many options."

"an absolutely appealing environment. old house with history with modern, stylish decoration. small menu (we find very good! meat, fish, vegetarian, different menus; again and again new, regional, seasonal, always fresh. both feed and drink (very good wine selection always in best quality, visually an absolute eye-catcher! the service staff always very attentive and friendly. whether in summer on the terrace or in the place, it is always an experience. for that they like to spend a little more because quality has its price and that is good. a little cursed from every day."
