"On a short trip, my boyfriend and I decide to stop for a meal. we rely on the high number of reviews we find on the web and we call the local “La Bettola” several times to book a table but without having an answer (problem apparently that you often find comments on the internet.) arrived at ragusa we decide to go personally to the local but without reservation it seems impossible to find a free table. good for us, however, because hungry we decide to look for another local nearby and just around the corner, a few meters later, we discover kitchen and wine, a charming family run (and you can perceive it immediately) in which we are welcomed also without reservation. immediately you breathe an atmosphere of tranquility and kindness. me and my boyfriend, not wanting to weigh down, we decide to split a menu in two and I can guarantee that we still got up from the table pretty satis. from the appetizer to the coffee! prices are in the norm. the managers of the premises are prepared, courteous and have that particular attention of those who know their work and do it very well! If I had to go back to ragusa, it will definitely be a mandatory stage. I recommend it!"

And don't skip the cannolo (as recommended by the sommelier the ones in Ragusa are made with young cow milk its extra flavorful

password: DI-VINO. the dishes are delicious, the genuine raw materials and come from their vegetable garden. all the delicious dishes were delicious. presentation of the wonderful dishes. the owners are friendly people, attentive to the customer and very nice. Probably the best restaurant in Ragusa Ibla. We had the tortino di Ragusa a to start. That was good but I think for 2 people it's too much cheese. My husband had the cavati pasta and liked it a lot, I opted for the fish of the day. It was salmon and we'll prepared, crisp outside and not overcooked inside. We also had the caponata di melanzane. It's all eggplant so it's different than how others are preparing it. If you like eggplant this is a must. I loved this dish the most of all we tried. It took them about one hour to serve our starters. The service was very slow. It is a family run place, and there were many people ordering around the same time. So it's understandable, but we were very hungry, so the wait was long. They serve a mini appetizer bread with sun-dried tomatoes. They brought me gluten-free bread. Our starter was octopus on top of beans with some lemon shavings. It was a unique dish and tasty.
