Coyote Cafe - Carte

My wife and I LOVE Mexican food. We know this isn't Mexico. This is not good Mexican food. Otherwise the atmosphere is really nice.

It is a combination of cafe, bar and restaurant servicing typical (average taste) Mexican food. Cocktails were not up to our expectations but prices overall were logical. Not a bad choice for a dinner if you want to avoid German cuisine.

I was thinking about leaving the restaurant as they only had one girl serving about 10 tables. She was not being helped out by the barman and I did not get a good feeling from the staff.The salad and twister fries were delicious. I ate here with a group, the food was decent, nothing crazy, and most of us had some version of German-Mexican fusion. The restaurant has a good vibe, although it sounds crazy, it is a good place for hip-romantic, if that even makes sense. The restaurant is nice and clean, I probably wouldn't return here for dinner, but it was still good, plenty of other places in Wiesbaden to enjoy.

Great service and good snacks/food. This restaurant/bar is a great place to drop in with friends and sit down at a table for some drink and light foods. They have a bunch of mixed drinks/beers/margaritas/sodas/spirits. They have upstairs seating that is usually only open if the downstairs is full. The bar is fast service and makes great drinks without cheating you out of your alcohol. I would recommend going here as a sort of "pre-game" location and not a sit down and have dinner location. No complaints on the place. I had a great time going there!

This was our first (and will be our last) time to try Southwest/Mexican food here in Germany. We moved to Europe from Albuquerque, NM, so (unfortunately) we have a certain 'standard' we tend to compare against. We ordered the fajitas and were surprised to find them more like Chinese take-away stir fry, broccoli and all. The tortillas were good, the chips & thimble sized 'bowl' of salsa were essentially Doritos and a sweet, very mild, chile sauce. The burgers other diners were enjoying looked good though. The atmosphere is amazing, first off. Little hard to find the entrance but the place inside and outside is neat. Very cool decoration and layout. Took over an hour after drinks were ordered to get simple drinks...beer.Ordered food before the drinks even arrived, and the drinks showed up right before the food.I had the quesadilla. Nothing to write home about, I actually prefer Taco Bell over the one I had there. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't Mexican restaurant quality either. Glad I went, might go back after the "meh" attitude about it goes away. But I also am not RUNNING back there either.

We went in on a Saturday evening, the place was busy. They were blasting terrible pseudo house "music" the volume level was such that, even leaning in close, I could not hear my date. The waitress, when she finally showed up, evidently couldn't hear us either, the drink orders were wrong when they finally arrived, but, we decided it wasn't worth waiting another 20 minutes and just drank them. The food arrived 80 minutes after it was ordered, and was just ok, at best. Could have done better at any fast food spot, and for much less money. The consistent distracted apathy of the staff was remarkable; all three of the staff that attended to our table seemed to care not at all. Would be an ok pla...

My family and I visited this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. The location is set up nicely, but as soon as I visited the men's restroom to wash my hands I backed out of the restroom. This was the most dirty and disgusting restroom you'll ever see.Once I returned to our table a very unfriendly and rude waitress (obviously russian) took our beverage order. Since there was happy hour a the time we ordered cocktails. I guess the restaurant owner's philosophy is half the price half the quality. The cocktails were horrible.
