very pleasant experience. eating was very healthy and homemade, beautiful ethnic decorations, the owner chef was very friendly. we loved it!

eating is fresh, delicious, authentic. nice to have a menu in English or German. the host is really welcoming, and the ambiente is very relaxed and pleasant, in a lively part of the city.

This is a top value Middle eastern restaurant. One guy does everything. Only about 15 seats and a limited range of drinks and simple menu. But it is tasty and filing. Quite impressive watching him go through his paces. Located right in the heart of...the Neustadt.

this little restaurant, a friendly cook waiter, he spoke well English and German. we chose a selection of dressed and ate family style. good, flavored fresh food. No alcohol is served here. very good price and eating came in a timely way...aaaselection oasselection by dress

The host here makes you feel genuinely welcome in this small and cosy restaurant. We both ate a main meal and coffee with drinks and the bill was under €25 so the place is a bargain. No alcohol but try to citron presse. Definitely worth...seeking out when in the neustadt. Just off Alaum st on the corner of Louise St. Would definitely go again.

we were already in the couscous house for the repeated time.The ambiente is very welcoming,oriental and quiet. in summer there is even the possibility to sit outside. eating is highly recommended, because the couscous is excellently seasoned and prepared. I can especially recommend the court "couscous grille" and also the homemade lemonade, which is made according to the friendly coches with minze from your own garden.

on these days, when cold weather seams appear more frequently, this small restaurant gives this hearty with a delicious Algerian homemade and warm food. every thing so good, served in traditional dishes, we have tried sweet, autumn apple couscous, and lamb couscous with some... sauces that they add as their own taste, very good amount, do not miss the green tea with mint, they can have placed for a good coffee and dessert. in this cozy place the owner and his wife take care of them.

The Algerian owner chef waiter is very charming and welcoming. Food is excellent. And he offered a citron presse delicious, fresh lemonade not overly sweetened. No alcohol here. I was comfortable as a woman dining alone. Interesting, bohemian part of Dresden; walk up Alaunstrausse to Louisanstrausse, or take tram...no. 7 or 8 and get off near Louisanstrausse, then walk about 2 blocks east. For delicious couscous royale chicken, lamb or merguez, made to order and lemonade, about 10 euros.

The authenticity of the decoration and the gentleness of the owner add to the excellence of the food to transport you for a moment in the Orient. If the couscous and its amazing spices is hot like a day in the desert, the dessert has...flowery flavors that reminds of the soft wind that brings the night. You won't find another place like this in Dresden. Some things you might want to know before going: the place is small and it's a one man operation, so I imagine that service might be a little bit slow if you come with a group of 8 persons. Also, this place doesn't serve alcohol.
