"Frequentatore del ristorante e del bar, tendenzialmente a pranzo ed in giornate lavorative, la valutazione è ottima. Il servizio è rapido, senza discontinuità anche con sala piena o quasi. Ambiente, classico e confortevole che mette a proprio agio per chiacchierare davanti ad un ottimo bicchiere di refosco, oppure assaggiando un piatto tipico. Gnocchi ai diversi ragù e patate in tecja mi sono particolarmente piaciuti. I tavoli all'aperto, quasi tutti al coperto, ampliano la disponibilità e non fanno percepire il luogo come particolarmente affollato. Da tornarci per gli altri piatti di un menù in evoluzione"

"Pranzo di famiglia domenicale. Abbiamo scelto dal menu alla carta. Vasta scelta per chi adora il pesce, un pò meno per chi non mangia pesce. Cibo di qualità e molto buono, come se hai fornelli ci fosse ancora la nonna a spadellare. Ottimi i crostini di pane caldo con il baccalà mantecato. Sublime il dolce con cioccolato e pistacchio. Ampio dehor estivo, rilassante cenarci nelle giornate estive. Naturalmente esiste anche una buona scelta di vini locali."

"It's the famous pappa time and the street for eagles I decide to stop at this restaurant. is my infallible sense and a half guided me well; Very well. The restaurant is family-run and offers in addition to beautiful pizzas a great à la carte menu, we say seas and mountains; you can find interesting dishes whether you love the flavors of the wood, wild boar, mushrooms etc. or if you love those of the sea. So I plunged into the mera taking as first of the delicious gnocchetti with ragù di canestrelli (which would be like the capesante but in miniature) while as second I took some grilled squid with polenta toasted. all really good, cooked well and presented with care. the owners who wandered between the tables are very kind and explain the dishes if necessary. At the end of the meal I am offered a homemade herbal liquor, very good. I would have wanted / had to ask for the recipe to the owner. I have the doubt: was the helicris between these mountain herbs or not?? ? If I move back to the area I will stop again. Good!"

"I was rebooked from the Hotel Patriachi to the Aquila Nera. Both hotels are owned by the same family and they close each one for a month during the slower winter months of January and February. The Hotel sits on a small square beside a canal. The grocery store is right across from the Hotel. I came by train and the bus service is infrequent. Upon calling the Hotel to help me get a taxi the manager (son of the owner) said I 'll be there in 10 minutes. He also gave me a ride back to the train station. My light-filled room looked onto the square. Breakfast was in the Hotel dining room. They brought a delicious pizza up to my room the first night. The second night I had the Friuli dinner, and later learned that the scrumptious salami and sausages were made by the father. I was fascinated by the finishing touch for some of the take out pizza orders: they scattered potato chips on top of the pizza before closing the boxes. I 've never seen, or heard of that, and intend to try it sometime!"

"We had traveled a long way to get to Grado, but when we left to go home, we stopped at Ristorante Ai Due Leoni in Aquileia, Italy because the restaurant looked so inviting with tables,umbrellas and a bar al fresco. We were greeted by a friendly server and the food arrived very quickly. This one is a winner and you can't go wrong stopping here with reasonable prices too."
