"we came for a meal on Saturday 11 December 21. super friendly staff . fabulous eating . very nice atmosphere felt like home. but unfortunately we had another visit on Tuesday, 1st March at a week night for my sisters birthday and unfortunately not get the same service. the only employee who seemed to be there did not even realize that we went in the rest and ask if we have a table. fair enough that he might have been short, a nice hallo would not be with them at a moment from a miss. I went by to say that we have a table under the name lisa. only to see no answer. hugh. the waiter spoke every English that I wandered. after, as always stood at the door, the waiter went over a table still no eye contact and pulled two tables apart. because he would never have asked that I would not get the chance to say was for four people. birthday boy was in traffic. when I said I'm sorry that there are 4 of us, he went on to put tables back together, no contact. and went away, after 10mins of satt wait he brought 2 menus my sister birthday girls then showed up and we sat on the look for 2 menus between us all four. 20mins later no drinks or even asked if we want. again, if hed only said that I'm sorry that I'm extremely busy if we were a.s.a.p with them, we would think differently, I went over the bar after more menus and asked if we should order from the bar. he said he was overheared. we all felt a little annoyed by his attitude, a very anxious, he thought he worked in a flat? it looked more like that. it pampered the night, my sister has only booked there because of the beautiful contributors from December on my birthday so disappointed that the least say. I will add, eating was fabulous so compliments to the cook. the only reason for 4 stars."

my second visit here and as impressed as the first time. eating was excellent, decent portions and not too expensive. the lamb was extraordinary! I can't wait to go back.

Beautiful place, stunning decor, gorgeous food and amazingly friendly staff. The food is gorgeous and presented beautifully. I couldn’t fault if I tried, we’ve visited 3 times over the years and it’s always been a fabulous experience! We will definitely be back. One of our favourite places in Hull to enjoy a meal.

Food excellent, service good shame no draught beer £16 for 4 small bottles (275mm) of lager,40% of menu missing no Fillet steaks really fancied Rossini although the pork tenderloin was top notch and when it came to pay the bill the card machine wasn't working and had to walk to the nearest ATM to get cash to pay bill. Will go back but will ask if the full menu is available when booking Voir le carte

We couldn't find any fault with this outstanding restaurant. The service was excellent and friendly, the food was beautiful and cooked to perfection. My friend ordered the Duck for her main course and it was excellent. I had King prawns as a starter which were the best I've ever had. For my main course, I had the Lamb shank which was delicious. We both enjoyed Crème brulee for dessert, accompanied by two lovely bottles of White wine. I would highly recommend this excellent restaurant to anyone without any reservation.

the first time they visited tonight and the best eating was in years. the personal is extremely attentive and understandable on the menu, including the way certain elements are cooked on the menu, how they taste etc. service very fast and consistent. eating was absolutely incredible on presentation and taste, I was lost for cake. the interior was very comfortable with a series of sitting, atmosphere romantic and relaxing. special mention to paulo (presumably) for looking for us so good for the whole evening and compliments to the chef for such beautiful eating. we'll be back soon.
