Have been several times before.Delicious food .service is excellent. The place itself is very relaxing. Would highly recommend.

Food excellent, service good shame no draught beer £16 for 4 small bottles (275mm) of lager,40% of menu missing no Fillet steaks really fancied Rossini although the pork tenderloin was top notch and when it came to pay the bill the card machine wasn't working and had to walk to the nearest ATM to get cash to pay bill. Will go back but will ask if the full menu is available when booking

What a gem of a find. An authentic french restaurant in an area of Hull, way out of the centre. Not only was the food excellent, the service was also first class, and Clare, hope I've got the name right, couldn't have been more helpful. This was a find on the internet, a pre theatre meal, and will now be our go to place when we visit again. It lived up to the reviews I read on the internet. The French chef , as you would expect, knew exactly his to cook duck!

We are unable to rate the food or restaurant as it was closed on 03/09/23. We had made a reservation for 2pm, but upon arrival, we found the restaurant to be clearly closed. Despite trying to contact them by phone and knocking on the door, we were unable to get any response. My husband had booked our table the Friday before and we were not informed of any issues. It was our 35th wedding anniversary and we were looking forward to celebrating, so we were very disappointed by the experience.

We couldn't find any fault with this outstanding restaurant. The service was excellent and friendly, the food was beautiful and cooked to perfection. My friend ordered the Duck for her main course and it was excellent. I had King prawns as a starter which were the best I've ever had. For my main course, I had the Lamb shank which was delicious. We both enjoyed Crème brulee for dessert, accompanied by two lovely bottles of White wine. I would highly recommend this excellent restaurant to anyone without any reservation.

The Maitre d' was knowledgeable and had a pleasant personality. The ambiance was great until a group of six Asians arrived and their loud conversations became overwhelming. Prior to that, we enjoyed some nice background music and could easily converse with each other. Our choice of starters may have been a mistake. The pate had a texture similar to whipped cream and was served with pre-buttered toast, which was unnecessary given the amount of butter/fat in the pate. My partner mentioned that the crab cakes lacked crab flavor. However, the Tarragon chicken and mustard and honey glazed chicken main courses were delicious choices. Booked a table for 8 originally but increased to 10 for my mother in laws birthday today at 2pm . We even popped in to pay a deposit and ask if we needed to preorder . Because he recognised us told us not worry about either we regularly visit 3/4 times a year as a large family and then also as couples and smaller groups at other times . Received a call today to preorder food and told to use Facebook menus . Which we all did . 7 of us choose the set menu on your facebook page with a glass of wine . When been asked for our drinks order we asked for our glass of wine on set menu . To be told that menu was no longer available and the wine would not be honoured even after showing the only set men...
