"Popped in on the way home for a couple of pints and was greeted by a very polite gentleman am guessing the landlord made us feel very welcome. Wasn't very busy but was early but looking around am guessing it gets very busy at night. Heard good thing's about the food but that was from a long time ago and am unsure if they still do food and Sunday roasts. Definitely going back so will update later this place is dog friendly so that's nice to see."

Good place for social contact with a goodrange of beers. Also have a jam night on the last Tuesday of every month where some great local musicians put on a varied free show (8-11pm)
