Had a great time at a wedding party on the ground level gents loo a bit small for number of guests but more loos up stairs other than that fantastic

Beautiful place! Great hosts. They make a mean mocktail we had dinner upstairs and a party downstairs. The organisers couldn’t have picked a better venue.

Very rude waiter, snatched bottle when we were told it was complimentary wine and we went down and he wasn’t there, so we presumed you had to pour yourself so did so and he was very agressive. Snatched the bottle, and drew us bad looks and made me feel very uncomfortable. Voir le carte

I have just officiated at a wedding at The Citation and I could not praise them more highly. It is in a fantastic location and the interior decor is absolutely stunning. Pauline, the wedding co-ordinator is a joy to work with, and Aiden specially recreated the best cocktail I have ever had in my life, which I had in The Citation some 10 years ago.

Was at my neices wedding recently Taylor James , and I have to say it was the most amazing day ever. Everything was just so professional and ran so smoothly , We were treated beautifully from the second we stepped in. The wedding meal was perfect and so tasty. I would like to thank the staff and management for making my neices day so special, would highly recommend to friends n family xx

I was there as part of a large group. The beer selection was a bit limited, but the prices were what I would expect for a plush city centre site, eg £3.10 for a diet coke. The food was average, but they took away the dessert before my table got to have any. They did manage to have a wee ceilidh, with music from Ceilidh Minogue who were very good. I could not recommend this venue and staff more if you’re thinking of getting married! Every single staff member went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day. The food was absolutely unbelievable and we had so many compliments saying it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! The venue is just so perfect for a wedding and the staff are clearly very experienced! We had the most amazing day and we can’t thank citation enough!

We hired Citation for a big birthday party. It was the most amazing experience. The venue itself is amazing. The staff on the night were amazing. The food was amazing. It was a surprise party for my wife's birthday and of course she had a totally amazing time. I booked the venue months in advance and the member of staff I dealt with throughout the organising of the party couldn't have been more helpful, especially at the times I was panicking. I haven't mentioned her name to save her blushes. If I was having another big event I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you so much to everyone at Citation.

Utterly shocked. Today I visited the venue with my mother and a friend. Once the secretary greeted us, we explained we were interested in the venue for my 21st birthday. We were told how “exclusive” and “boujee” the standard venue was, and how “expensive” at £50 per head. The continuous repetition of the word “expensive” was clearly an expression of the Secretary’s preconceived thoughts. After the girls third use of the word “expensive” I wanted to leave, however, my mother was polite and concluded the visit in a mannerly fashion.
