"if they are looking for a nicely cooked, tasty and affordable lunch, about 1924 is the place to go. the lunch menu is small, but they can be sure that everything will be beautiful. the young lady was very pleasant and accommodating. The best thing was that pretty much everything on the menu was either gluten-free or could be adjusted...a such tasty for people with wheat allergies....absolutely beautiful. two courses for £10-95 (lunch) bur obviously we found room for dessert"

Hi circa, Just wanted to say, I took my dad out for lunch on Friday, and we had a delicious set course lunch, the mushroom risotto is top notch. Keep up the good work.x

This was our first visit and I have to say the food is lovely and the staff excellent, will definitely be returning. We took our children aged 9yr and 12yr and they were very accommodating.

Had a lovely meal at CIRCA 1924 with friends, who were visiting from Holland, and they said: We know where to go the next time we 're are in Exeter for great food . The turnip was particularly liked, and the gin infusions upstairs, at the bar, afterwards!

Modern fine dining restaurant with smartly thought out design and exciting menu. We had a set three course menu vegetarian and pescatarian options . Ideas behind each dish are bright, fresh and novel. However mushroom on toast lacked depth of flavour. Beetroot and Jerusalem artichoke in Risotto dish needed more texture and caramelisation. All in all very lovely place and exciting team. Will be following your culinary journey.
