What a place! Such a wonderful variety of ciders- and at £3 a pint on Thursdays including flights! Lovely atmosphere, great tunes and most importantly- brilliant cider!

friendly atmosphere, with many tvs to watch sport. large selection of apple and other drinks. had a blue cheeseburger that was amazing. well supervised by the employees. had a prise naköl and it was delicious

Nice pub. Two pool tables. Range of ciders and prices reasonable for Gloucester Road. Food was 50+ minutes due to an oven explosion , though staff communicated with my party around this. Would return for drinks.

I and my friend went to the apple press to get a floorless brunch. the employees were very attentive and follow on all our desires and needs. the manager on the layer charlie was brilliant and even after we finished our underpants, he still reserved a table for us to see the afternoon football! would definitely recommend for others in the future! The cider selection is fantastic, priced at just £3, which is perfect for a student budget. The venue offers large pool tables and dart boards to enjoy (although the dart boards are quite worn, you won't mind after a few good pints). There are over 20 ciders available, along with a variety of other drinks. I really wish I had discovered this place sooner!

We had a great time at the quiz night! Our food arrived quickly and was delicious, but the tables were quite sticky. Even though my friend brought this up to a staff member, nothing was done about it. On the bright side, the quiz was fantastic! It was organized through an app, which instantly tallied the points and displayed the answers right after each round.

What can I say? If you're looking for a fantastic brunch spot with great value, this is the place to be! While there are some additional charges for certain menu items or to go “premium,” the quality of the food and drinks is totally worth it. The extras really enhance the experience, making it one of the best dining outings I’ve had. The staff is absolutely fantastic and very attentive to guests' needs.
