"During the busy Saturday night in Bergamo it is quite hard to find a table in a restaurant if you don 't reserve it. So after walking for about half an hour we were happy to find a place to eat. Restaurant was 80 90% and did not look bad so we were happy. But unfortunately everything that followed was a nightmare. First, the waitress forgot to bring us drinks. After that we ordered first dish which did not arrive for almost 30 minutes (plain palenta and bruschetta . And when it arrived it was the most terrible bruschetta ever. I thought you can not make a bad bruschetta but it is possible. Then, one minute after she brought first dish, she brought a second dish and it was a wrong one (and also a bad one . That 's when we decided to protest (politely! that the bruschetta was bad, and that we did not order this kind of scond dish. And then she came, the owner, personally, with an attitude I AM THE OWNER HERE and very unpolitely explained in front of all guests that it is not bruschetta (although it is marked like that in English menu but a specialty from Southern Italy similar to it, just the bread from which is made of is in fact hard like stone and some people eat it with water (which they did not explain when they brought it or when we ordered and that we should know that etc. That 's when we asked for the bill and left, without eating second dish. By the way, their telephone is ringing in the didning room, and they talk in front of guests, which is also strange, because they have enough space to put it elsewhere. So, if you want to ruin your evening, go for it. We did not want to ruin it, so we found a place in another restaurant around 9.45 in the evening, and L 'Osteria di Valenti was awesome."

All good. Nice place. super image. Some extra shortcomings and dishes in my opinion can become even more good. more attention in the table service could be a suggestion.

Nothing special! If you will try once you would NOT like to return. This type of plates you could try in any bar, but service... They mess all they could! You can order some, after 15 minutes they will say that is't possible to cook, so you should change. The only one that i liked was design.

all good and delicious, typical dishes of bergamo and not only. wine was good too. possibility to eat in and out. Local attention to detail with a style all its own that makes it really nice and cozy. educated and professional staff that makes you the experience even more beautiful. fantastic winches. We came here for a casual dinner meal on new years eve without a booking. The staff were helpful and allowed us to dine before the evening bookings and made us feel very welcome. The scenary in the restaurant was colourful and curious with a venetian theme. We ordered pasta dishes which were nice, but not extra-ordinary. They also offer local dishes. Good prices on main meals, but desserts are quite expensive from 7 euros upwards. Overall, it was enjoyable and catered our needs for a reasonably priced light dinner.

We found this the first night of our trip and enjoyed it, decor, pizza and house wine; waiter was good and sense of humour. We returned on our last night but he was not there; the waitress did not speak much English; I asked for spicy pasta and did not get and very bland; asked for a carafe of wine and got a half; a basket of bread which we got the first night immediately did not arrive for 10 minutes; calamari had bones in which I complained about; table next to us ordered 2 beers and after 10 minutes I turned to them and said 'maybe they have gone to Belgium for them !
