"As soon as we stepped into this restaurant the waitress basically ushered us into a table. We let that go as it was late so assumed she was busy, she kept coming back to our table and basically demanding to find out what we wanted to eat. As neither of us speak Spanish we couldn't really complain, I tried to ask for water but was treated like an inconvenience. The food was dire. We both ordered Prawn dishes and I'm sure the prawns must have been sat in the kitchen for a week. My husband ordered Salt Pepper Prawns which came shell on but were so slimy you couldn't get the shell off, I ordered Prawn Chop Suey which was so bland I asked for some curry sauce. This also had no taste. I have never been in a restaurant where I paid the exact bill and walked out. In Chinese restaurants you are usually given a hot towel to wipe your hands which I saw being given to other tables but not us. I spent most of that night in the bathroom as I felt so sick. This was such a bad start to our Bilbao trip thank good it got better after this disaster !!"

After a day of sightseeing we just wanted somewhere we could have a quick meal in relative quiet and this was it. Really enjoyed the food, the wait staff were unobtrusive, highlight was the lemon chicken. Don't be tempted to order a lot as the portions are generous. Liked it so much we visited it twice.

I'm a 45 year old man who has lived and eaten all over world. This is one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. Cold food, chicken meat that may have been pigeon meat, flourescent yellow curry sauce, and wine that I'm sure was watered down. I write this review thirty minutes after leaving the restaurant and I pray to God I don't have food poisoning.

This restaurant is quite elegant. The tables have turquoise and white colored tablecloths and the chairs are also covered with turquois fabric. At the entrance there is a small pond with goldfish and a small bridge goes over the pond. There is a large variety of food and many dishes cost only between 4 and 6 euros. The food is quite tasty. Service is friendly. Voir le carte

Typical Chinese resturant, my mate claims. We were greeted more or less with a smile, given that we were trying to have dinner at Aussie dinner time, not Spain dinner time and clearly the family that owns the restaurant was just about to have their dinner. We ordered the Menu Especial what we would call a banquet back home. It was delivered promptly and all dishes were good (although a couple were too salty). For the price (32 euros for 3 pax), it couldn 't be faulted.

the food was terrible. everything smelled and tasted horrible. the singapore noodles smelled like chemicals, the fried rice was stale, and the ribs smelled like duck ? and were super salty. the decor was tacky and dirty. some of the tablecloths had moth holes in them so the hygiene is clearly spectacular. when we were paying they ripped us off by charging us in usd instead of euros. if you’re thinking of coming here to eat, please go somewhere else. and if you’re already here, well, good luck.

Ok, what can you expect of a Chinese restaurant in a provincial town in Spain? Restaurants Ercilla! A restaurant that serves food that looks like Chinese food but that tastes bland. As a starter I had Hot Sour Soup €3.15), which was pasty with crunchy pieces of fresh carrot and I think zucchini, and a Chinese Egg roll €1.65), which was big, fresh, and bland. I then had Sweet Sour Chicken with Egg Fried Rice. While the portion rice was huge, the chicken fish was modest. Moreover, the chicken was my mostly dough with tiny pieces of chicken in it. It tastes... yes, you got it, bland! Voir le carte

Having read the reviews I was sceptical. We passed this place at lunchtime and it was packed, so decided to ditch the tapas for one evening and try something different. The place was very clean and colourful , lots of yellow and orange. Menu was in different languages, great choice of red and rose wine. Nice touch was the bridge over water at the entrance. We chose 3 dishes, special fried rice that was tasty and had a crunch to it, chicken with mushrooms , lacked a sauce as was a little too oily for my taste, sweet and sour prawns which were nice , but sauce maybe too orange, these weren't for me as I cannot understand the batter then the sauce concept, hubby likes them though! We were unfortunate enough tonight to eat at Restaurant Chino Ercilla. We walked around the area between the Guggenheim and Metro station for an hour and couldn't find a decent restaurant that was open. Eventually we stumbled upon Ercilla. It looked seriously cheap and tacky but we didn't have much choice. We hoped the food would be nice. The staff was awful bordering on downright rude. Everything, it seemed was deep fried the won tons contained no meat or fish. The prawn crackers were inedible. The spring rolls were tasteless and were saturated in oil. We chose 2 chicken dishes and 2 beef dishes. All 4 were equally vile and in edible. The meat was slimy and grizzly. The best bits of the mea...

"I would fly back to Bilbao just to experience this culinary art and visual sensations again. This is where gastronomy meets art. From the projected menu, table-side preparation, to 3D goggles, every dish was well orchestrated and carefully presented. The 14-course Chef Plus menu is the best choice and it was a mind-blowing 3-hour journey. I have been to several 3 and 2 stars Michelin Star restaurants around the world, and this one-star establishment gave me more excitement and surprises than some more famous ones. This is the only Michelin star restaurant that I have been to where you get to see the chef several times throughout the dinner. Their seafood dishes were the best ones I have ever had that I can truly taste the intense flavor of the ingredients, not the sauce. I have had numerous cousins with truffle before, but none of them are memorable. The aroma of the white truffle in the soup I had here today was truly legendary. The number one course for me was the dessert named Caprice of Eucalyptus Raspberry and Tomato. I was curious about the use of tomato in a desert at first, but then it became my most favorite moment of the night. The transformation of a simple ingredient such as tomato into a whole new texture and flavor was just like magic. I have never ordered an a la carte item from a prix fixe menu before, but I did tonight just to experience it twice. Again, the tomato won my heart. The raspberry biscuit was equally amazing by itself, but the shock from the tiny tomato dices hidden inside this dessert was just beyond words. This was easily the best Michelin one-star restaurant for me, and it surpassed some of my past 2-star and 3-star culinary experiences. Maybe Yelp is not commonly used in Spain, so there was only one review about this place. I would not notice this place if I just walk by, since you can 't see inside from the street. You have to ring the bell in order to get in. I went to the adjacent restaurant by mistake, since it was the only one open around there. Then I was escorted to the right place. Don 't be shy to ring the bell, even though it looks like they are closed from outside. You will not be disappointed."
