A busy evening at this restaurant, with lovely staff and plenty of locals eating there, which is a good sign!

good food, nice variety of japanese style, thai and chinese as well. all the waitresses spoke good enligh and the service was good as well.

We went there to take the lunch menu and it was a suggestion by our chinese friend so we went for it :) they have a mixtuee of different far eastern cousine....thai, japanese, chinese, etc. The pork with this thai sauce was fantastic

We have been sitting outside, what was nice to have a bit of air in the hot sommer, not so nice when there is a lot of traffic on Rüttenscheider Strasse (what was not the case, but is a risk)I expected some mexican dishes from the name of the place, it turned out to be a thai food/asian place. Quality of the food was above average, while not beeing totally overwhelming.

It was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Many different Asian dishes, so something for everyone. We decided to go for the menu with different dishes so we could try a lot. Dishes were fine, however it was way too much to finish. As we stayed in a hotel, a doggy bag did not seem a good idea, but if you're local they are willing to give you one. I can recommend this restaurant if you appreciate Asian food. Voir le carte

Had a business lunch at "Chilli House" in Essen with a client who is a regular here. The menu had lots of great choices and interesting dishes.We started with a fabulous 'Wonton Soup' and then I had the 'Drunken Chicken' over rice with peanut sauce... This was very good indeed and the portion was so large I couldn't finish all my rice. The cost for my two courses and a large Coke Zero was circa €15, so good value for the quality and quantity of food I had. Restaurant staff were excellent and there is a good ambience to the place - Highly recommended.

I have been in Germany for over a month, and so far this is the most "spicy asian" restaurant I had. Mostly what the local people here call spicy is a food with a little bit pepper or MCD kinda of chili sauce. Yes, for them it's spicy. But not at all for me. I am sure the asian people know what I mean, especially in south East Asian where chili becomes must-ingredients almost in every menu. Apart from the spicy flavor thing, this restaurant is really yummy. There are a lot variants that you can choose; Japanese style, Chinese, or some Thai or any other asian cuisine. The price? It's worthed every dip

My wife and I visited this place because being of limited German vocabulary, we were pleased to find that the menu contained dishes with Japanese names e.g. ramen, don, teriyaki, etc. This made ordering our food less of a challenge. Certainly, the atmosphere was busy and lively and the decor is the usual eclectic mix of Far-East paraphernalia that will just be all the same to the untrained eye. But actually it is a mishmash of several cultures just like the menu, so while it is mostly a Japanese-based menu, there were things that were Thai, Chinese and Korean. There were no "fusion" dishes which I always find disappointing so this was definitely a bonus. The other good thing about this place... Voir le carte
