"This criticism is already somewhat older and comes from my findings of a veritable portal. But I do not want to deprive you of them here either: After a short period of thought and taking into account the mumbling in my stomach area, I have decided for a long time again for the Pizzeria Venezia on Rüttenscheider Straße. The Venezia is a very popular small pizzeria, which not only enjoys evenings but also especially at noon more popularity. At the beginning of the year the Venezia was closed for a few weeks due to rebuilding. Since the end of April (2014 the doors of the now significantly enlarged local have been opened again. Ambience: In front of a wide glass front, which can be opened as far as possible in summer, there are a number of tables and chairs on the walkway of Rüttenscheider Straße. Inside you will find the counter and the kitchen on the right. The guest room, while the refurbishment works are completely new and tends to be stylish, offers space for several tables for 2 to 6 people. I personally liked the old ambience before the remodeling with old, dark wooden tables and chairs significantly better. In my opinion, especially at midday, when many frequently changing guests are present, the ambience has changed from very cozy to clearly kantinehaft. Due to the new floor and lack of plants and decoration objects, a semi-occupied location for an ear-punching noise level is sufficient in the current design. Before the reconstruction, it was clearly cozy 2.5 star service: This evening all the tables were occupied outside the restaurant. In the interior, however, some tables were still unoccupied, so I sat down at a second table at the column in the middle of the room. The three servants who were present tonight (2 young ladies and 1 young gentleman did not know of my previous visits. The young man was initially busy closing the window front on the left side, as an older gentleman smoked a very impressive cigar at the tables before (I really thank you for closing the window. Shortly afterwards he came to me at the table, gave me the card, murmured a short hello! followed by a very short break and a request? where he kept a block and a pen. To gain time to look at the map, I ordered a soft wheat (2.80 €) and gave the waiter to understand that I wanted to look into the map first. A short time later, one of the two young ladies brought my soft wheat beer. Practically at the same time (and almost heart attack triggering appeared on the other side of the young man, bred his block again and asked? . When the plate was cleared I was asked quickly if it had tasted, my answer was yes, but surely the waiter did not get along completely. The first credit when paying was written with interim invoice. I am not the tax office, but I still do not find it right and have asked for a correct invoice which was then brought to me immediately. In previous visits, I have had the service much better remembered. Today the service was friendly, but little professional. With not even half-occupied locals and 3 services a little chaotic. Just 3 stars The food: On the map of the Venezia you will find a wide selection of pizzas and pastries as well as a few salads and also a few meat dishes. In addition, there are 2 regularly changing weekly dishes (usually a pizza and a pasta dish that I liked to take at least earlier. Today, however, none of the two dishes met my taste and so I decided for the Calzone (7,50 €), which was actually always quite right. When the ordered pizza came to the table I was already a little disappointed. The calzone itself looked like always, beautiful golden brown baked. Professionally at the edge, so that the proportion of the thick edge region is as small as possible. However, instead of the Kleckses tomato sauce, which has always been very suitable for tuning the edge, only a handful of sadly slapped rucola leaves and some grated plastic cheese (i.e. with us at home the cheap Gouda from the supermarket. The pizza itself was nicely baked, the dough well from the consistency and on the top nicely crispy. The calzone was filled with tomato. ham, fresh mushrooms and mozzarella. Some salt, pepper and oregano. Tastefully all right but perhaps not as good as my memory gives. 3.5 star cleanliness All quite clean, but despite buzzing operations it takes a while to clear the empty glasses from the tables. Price performance is thanks to the relatively low prices but still good 4 stars conclusion: The food was quite fine, but I already remembered it better. The service was friendly today but had more help character. I hope for improvement and will still come again (current supplement: The service was clearly better shown during later visits"

"this wonderful unique restaurant is definitiw my favorites in Germany may not sweat throughout Europe. it has organic vegetarian tarife as well as organic wine, beer, apple wine other drinks. I myself am not vegetarian, so this is not my kriterium for. my assessment, but after all the strongly pork heavy menus you will find in Germany, which is a relief to discover animal circle. the food is made as fresh as they can find is not only delicious, but food they feel better as soon as they start eating it. the super-welcoming proprietor mo is from Iranian origin I am quite sure that the staff consists of mo’s large family) so that the kitchen can probably be defined persian at its core, but not exclusivlely as such. I had 5 meals in the animal circle, everything I tried is good. Yesterday I had the delicious ratatouille with roasted vegetables, the freshest tastiest taboulleh they can imagine (always order the taboulleh) a pizza with feta, spinat olive, which a friend who together with a more a farzenbier I have the bill 36e, as they see, the price is surprisingly reasonable. by the way, I will recommend any of the soups. call them always reserve first as they never know when the place will swarm with neighborhood gardeners it will certainly popular. the ambiente calms, with low lighting many green vines climbing everywhere. the service is very good, but eating individually prepared comes out in its own time. when they are sitting, they are not rushed in any way. the kitchen is in full view of the dining room they do not hear, food processor whispers (I am pretty sure they do not use) or even loud conversation. if they are not in the position, sitting in this night, they can order a pizza from the adjacent pull-out window. I professional tour when I eat zodiac is the first place I go. I will be here a total of 6 days of this trip, I will dinate at least one more time at the animal circles. thanks mo crew I will see you soon!"

"The visit to Schote was something I had been wanting to do for years. The start was strong, though possibly a bit too strong: Within about 45 minutes we had 3 courses (and 3 different glasses of wine/champagne) and felt pretty rushed each time...the new wine came, we quickly downed the rest from the last wine. Things then slowed down, which was refreshing and gave us more time to enjoy what was on our plates and in our glasses: We odered a 5 course meal and also received 4 different plates of various extras from the kitchen. The chosen 5 courses were beautifully set up ad tasted very good. The true taste experiences, however, came more from the extras from the kitchen, items that I would probably have never ordered from a menu, but I am so glad I had them (creme brulee of goose liver impressed me the most (I don't ever eat liver) followed by a liver lollipop dipped in chocolate; the apple beignet was also amazing and a neat twist on regular beignets). The service was at the start wonderful (though a bit too fast) and then at the end the worst I have ever had. We waited over one hour after the last course and with empty water and wine glasses just to have the opportunity to order the check. And this was the time between 9:30 and 10:30 pm not exactly the most stressful time of the night. Several tables were already empty, so there is really no excuse for this level of service. We also still had an open bottle of water at this point, but were never asked if we would like more (they do not leave the water bottle on the table for you to pour yourself). And the fact that Nelson Müller himself came out several times to speak with different tables, take pictures with guests and in almost 5 hours never once came to our table (it's a really, really small restaurant) was also very insulting. In all, there is no doubt that true artists are putting these plates together in the kitchen, and it was at the start a nice dining experience. It's just a shame when you pay 130 euros per person and at the end of the night the service leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth."

"this critique is a bit older and comes from my foundation of a hidden portal. I don't want to take you here either: after I visited the cantina italiana last night, I thought it's time to report it. I would have liked to sit outside during the nice weather, but on the small terrace unfortunately everything was completely full. at this time very few tables were occupied, but that changed in the course of the evening. the complex is cozy, rustic, almost family. even if it is full, the noise is limited by the angled construction. next to the rustic menu, a paper table set on which the offered diners and drinks are printed, there are various tables distributed over the entire, angled dining room with other diners and drinks. so before they sit, it is recommended to eat a little of what. the numerous controls are not assigned special tabs. instead, I was served this evening by 4 different people. on the one hand it makes it easier because everyone is responsible, on the other hand it was also easy to confuse for me. but now at the end of my visit to eat. in the cantina italiana there is unfortunately not the tomato soup so loved by me. because it was quite warm, I decided to have a mixed salad. I was very pleased that the mixed salad also exists as a small variant (for my taste still luxuriant) (for under 3 euro). Moreover, I was very positiw destroyed that the salat consisted not only of the usual salat leaves of different color with tomato and gurken. here came the salat with fresh fennel and thick white beans. delicious! as main dish I chose the panzerotti with spargel and gorgonzola (9,50 euro). the panzerotti were well costed, and with a pretty good filling/dough ratio. the sauce was creamy, but despite gorgonzola not too heavy and also not overwürzted. first I even thought that a little salt would have been more good, but in combination with the panzerotti that was wonderful. the spargel was also properly cooked, maybe a little bit beyond the point. only manko: unfortunately sparingly was not well peeled and I had some unpleasant woody sparing threads in the mouth (for this there is a small evaluation). ah yes, in advance there is on the table a basket with freshly roasted bread and garlic butter (which is delicious, but could be a little better cooled). short: the visit is worth looking for a beautiful small Italian with good value for money. haute cuisine should not be expected, because you don't have to grab that too deep into the bag"

"My wife and I visited this place because being of limited German vocabulary, we were pleased to find that the menu contained dishes with Japanese names e.g. ramen, don, teriyaki, etc. This made ordering our food less of a challenge. Certainly, the atmosphere was busy and lively and the decor is the usual eclectic mix of Far-East paraphernalia that will just be all the same to the untrained eye. But actually it is a mishmash of several cultures just like the menu, so while it is mostly a Japanese-based menu, there were things that were Thai, Chinese and Korean. There were no "fusion" dishes which I always find disappointing so this was definitely a bonus. The other good thing about this place was that the portions for the noodle soups that we ordered were very large. Certainly, we were hungry at the time, but already had a couple of starters as well, the noodle soups were quite tough to finish off as well. They were also steaming hot and full of flavour. However, what is let down by this place, was actually how "not Japanese" the dishes were that we ordered. I ordered the agadashi tofu and it was garnished with lots of red chilli, and that is certainly not what this dish is about, since it is supposed to be a light, mild dish. We also ordered the pork satay which was fine. For our noodle soups I ordered the Tori Ramen and my wife had the Chasui Udon. First off, we did eat it all, but I think we were both surprised at how they did not look like what we were expecting. As with the agadashi tofu, for some reason, there was a desire to cover them with chopped red chilli. But these dishes were not highlighted as being spicy. Secondly, the meats with our dishes were certainly not done in a Japanese fashion. I had expected the chicken to be something similar to a teriyaki, and the chasui (pork) we expected to look like slices of rolled meat. Instead, in both cases, we simply had lots of slices of well-marinaded meat. They did taste good, but I think we had different hopes. In summary, the food was good for an Asian style restaurant, but not authentic considering their menu."
