Chez Gustave - Carte

Friendly staff, good food and service, fair prices. Everything was fine! Try the gallette and the lemon tarte ;

Good food from a nice guy and not expensive at all. If you stay in this neighbourhood, definitely go there for a tasty galette, a nice confit de canard and delicious pain au chocolat!

We enjoyed a wonderful late breakfast at Chez Gustave. The service was excellent and friendly and the galettes were extremely tasty and fresh. We would have gone back the day after but it is closed on Sunday.

Enjoyed a tasty galetta (savoury crepe/pancake) with salad for lunch with pata negra, cheese mushrooms with a delightful coffee upon recommendation at the cafe. Staff were lovely friendly. By far our favorite spot for food in Berlin. A true French Brasserie in the classic sense. People inside and out with coffee, wind, and a pastry or baguette sandwich. Food was amazing, service excellent, and extremely reasonable. Each sandwich had a very good side salad of mixed greens, tomato, and cucumber with a a light drizzle of vinagrette

We had breakfast twice at Chez Gustave. The host greeted us very friendly in French but also spoke English (and of course German). Both days the breakfast was great. The bread, jam, cheese, eggs, coffee and jus d’orange all where fresh and very tasty. If...you like to book a hotel without breakfast and are looking for a great place to start the day, then Chez Gustave won't disappoint you!

We are currently staying at the Novotel Berlin Mitte. My husband found this place in Yelp upon our arrival, looking for a place to eat something decent while waiting for our hotel room after a 10 hour flight. Our humour changed dramatically when we entered this fabulous little place, gracefully decorated and with home made gourmet sandwiches and salads (french style). The prices are very reasonable. Please don 't change this magical place for a hotel restaurant or the more touristy places in Mitte. You will be pleasantly surprised. p.s: they serve Lavazza coffee! Voir le carte
