Fantastic value lunch menu. Food, wine and atmosphere that you expect from a restaurant, with a bill that you could easily run up in Pizza Hut. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

We made a reservation and turned up to find a note on the window to say there had been flooding and the restaurant was closed as a result. Very sad that this happened as know how stressful this can be but am wondering why customers who had booked weren’t alerted.

It was upsetting to experience this as we understand how difficult it can be for the staff. However, it was concerning that customers who had reservations were not informed in advance.

I know these things happen but what would have been useful is to tell the booked customers that their table would not be available asap. While we understand that unexpected events can happen, it would have been helpful if they had notified us beforehand that our table would not be available. As a result, we had to look for another place nearby to accommodate our party on a busy Friday night in December.
