Charlotte's W5 - Carte

Underwhelming for the price. Lovely setting but staff are overstretched and the food is overpriced.

Charlotte's W5 is a quaint restaurant and wine bar hidden in the new Dickens Yard complex just off Ealing Broadway.

Fantastic value lunch menu. Food, wine and atmosphere that you expect from a restaurant, with a bill that you could easily run up in Pizza Hut. I would not hesitate to recommend it. Voir le carte

Rather too much raw onion with octopus starter but Manager appreciated the feedback as this was a new dish. Slightly too much butter in my risotto but otherwise excellent. Great evening overall. Outside area looked very welcoming too.

The restaurant is currently closed, and OpenTable should not have allowed this booking to proceed. We arrived at the restaurant to find it closed due to a flood. I had visited the restaurant before and had a great experience, so I am really disappointed with OpenTable.

We had made a reservation and were disappointed to find a note on the window stating that the restaurant had been closed due to floods. Quiet Tuesday night. Given a dark table in corner made darker still when lights were over dimmed. Difficult to read menu. Service VERY patchy spent a lot of time trying to attract attention whilst bar team studiously avoided eye contact and tapped away at phones. GRRR. Food pretty good, pricing ok. If they pick up the service levels could be a cracking place.

We had made a reservation at a restaurant which was confirmed, but when we got there, we found out it was closed due to flooding. While we understand that unexpected events can happen, it would have been helpful if they had notified us beforehand that our table would not be available. As a result, we had to look for another place nearby to accommodate our party on a busy Friday night in December.

charlottes used to be one of our favourites to eat and entertain friends, but recently the dinge seems to have gone a little bit wrong here. when we arrived, we were told that most fresh fish dishes were not available because the supplier might not have supplied any disturbing sign? the sweet potatoes gnocchi were not good, the others were okay. the service was, however, very complete and not on the standard for the prices they raise in my opinion. it was not busy, but we had to draw attention to order and ask twice for the beverage menu. chips were forgotten, coffee was forgotten, the personal looked haunted. on the plus side the appetizers arrived immediately and were good (although from a...
