Very nice restaurante just across the old opera house on a beautiful square. Nice Italian food. You can seat in an outside table and watch people pass by.

We had a late dinner at this place. The staff was very nice and the restaurant is small but very cozy. The food and wine were very good. We had a great time. The location is also amazing.

This Italian bistro is well situated near the old opera. The service is Italian, warm and loud. The entré gemischter salad was ok but the spaghetti pomodoro average and the ribeye good. The sud primitivo red wine was good. Voir le carte

Italian restaurant not to miss. The full Italian atmospere , excellent location. Service professional and inviting. And to the best part the food, tasty as can be to perfection. For meat lovers you have to take their speciality Lamb ribs

Charlot is classic Italian in Frankfurt. A limited menu is deceiving. Just tell the Eugenio what you want and ye shall receive. A magnificent spot overlooking Alte Oper. Don't miss it if you love Italian good and find yourself in Frankfurt!!

Emailed a request for a reservation in the afternoon and they were happy to accommodate us. We sat outside and they added a patio heater by the table. The food was excellent and the waiter was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in Frankfurt. Voir le carte

We chose this restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary.It was the perfect choice.We sat outdoors in the lovely square by the old opera house and it was very picturesque .The waiters were all extremely friendly ad the food was amazing and beautifully presented.My beetroot carpaccio with pfifferlinge was utterly delicious.This was the best meal we had during our 4 night trip to Gemany and we would highly recommend this restaurant but should add it is rather pricey and may be best for a splurge on a special occasion!

The restaurant is too small if you don't make a reservation you will wait for over an hour if not more. It's too loud all the time and very crowded. The waiters are friendly but they can forget about you very easily. The food is just ok not the best Italian I've ever had. I chose the lobster and avocado salad which was the highlight of the night and then the truffle pasta was just ok. It could've tasted more like truffle. We had to wait a lot of time between each dish like 45 minutes!! It has a very nice location just outside the opera plaza you can walk around after your dinner.

To find a quite restaurant with a nice atmosphere good food an good service where can even bring your dog is kind of complicated. The Charlot is the place I usually chose in case.Downside: Ensure you made a reservation. It can be pretty full. Chose one of the traditional Italian dishes, like pasta. They are great. The place it not cheap at all.Upside: Staff is very friendly and let you know what the best food for the day is. The atmosphere is very personal you feel very welcome. After a busy day in the city or after a long shopping trip, the Prosecco leads you to a different place and you will feel like being on vacation. Wonderful. Voir le carte
