"The staff at Amerigo is incredibly friendly and helpful, as well as efficient. The food was delicious, especially the lamb chops which were the best I've ever had. The portions are generous. We were so impressed with our dinner that we decided to return the next night."

"My wife and I went to the restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We have been past many times but had never been in. What a mistake that was! From the greeting at the door to the farewell at the end of the evening we could not have asked for a better time. Our waiter was friendly and very funny, polite and treated us as valued customers. The food was exceptional with a very wide choice. We both had the fungi with Italian blue cheese to start that was so good and HOT. My wife had Salmon and I had the rack of lamb for main with saute potatoes and vegetables. Once again beautifully cooked and presented and HOT. We were very impressed with the food being hot as this is very unusual as in most restaurants the food is generally luke warm when it gets to the table. The desserts were also brilliant. I had the banofee pie and my wife had the biscuit cake with ice cream. When the bill came we were offered a glass of limoncello which was a really nice touch. Overall a great evening, not cheap but very good value. We will definitely be going again very soon."

"For the love of God, anybody that enjoys good food or Vietnamese food then please stay away from this place. HOW this place has good reviews is an absolute mystery. It is BAD. The spring rolls were pale and under cooked. Instead of being deep fried as they should these are obviously cooked in an oven and almost certainly came out of a freezer. The banh mi is dreadful. The bread almost certainly is cheap bread out of a freezer being dry and soggy and cotton wool like in texture. The pork was flabby with no flavour are seasoning. No pickled veg as is typical in a banh me. No chilli sauce or mayo as promised The veg wasn't at all fresh. I had to remove the mushy old cucumber slices. I could only eat half of this stuff. avoid this restaurant at all costs. This food is an insult to Vietnamese food and good food in general."

"I visited this restaurant regularly until Christmas 2021. this was my first visit this year and the property has changed again! in the front part of the restaurant were three lights turned on, the light was bad, the heating was...ab and there was no music at all. the waiter' had difficultities in the first part of my order for 2 plain and 2 spicy poppadome and a bottle cobra, after several repeated accusations he finally got it right, except to try to give me 2 bottles cobra at the same time. I decided to skip the starter and chicken jalfrezi mushroom rice and okra ordered. the food came, but the waiter treated the plate with bare hands and not covered with a served cloth, while he got the food I used my bag sanitiser to wipe the plate where he put his thumb. the chicken was tasteless and was possibly boiled, in which the whole meal was tasteless. I paid the bill and went around 9.45 clock within about 1 minute of my leave the restaurant closed and the roller shutters were closed. this was a Saturday night and it seemed that I had been their only eating in the customer. I don't think they'll survive much longer. a great scandal that a beautiful restaurant with a hygiene rating of 5 seems to be on the way last year."

"the Christmas dinner has enjoyed us very much. for the first time eat in a restaurant for christmas and that supplied. also cocktails were pleasant. the food was enjoyed by all, we ordered various things - everyone remained happy and full. the music selection was perfect that we sing together, also perfect loudness. we asked about the type of caviar, they had no warning, but tried to say they did. would have been better to just say we don't know. more appropriate space between the guests so that we felt comfortable and had space to enjoy private sphere while in a common environment. would definitely be rebooking. might have listed the circumcisions for the most important courses on the Christmas menu before they were different depending on the meat they ordered, but was a beautiful surprise and delicious both."
