Lovely pub, friendly staff great food. Under new management/chefs you can most definitely see the difference in the meals taste, brilliant turnaround. The manager Dan really takes pride in making sure you enjoy your visit. Our son absolutely loves the play park there too.

great place for a meal! eating is delicious, service is fast and our server (chloe) was friendly, bubbly and let us welcome. if they would be highly recommended, they will have plenty of parking spaces with EV charging points and the outside of the building looks inviting.

Even though they were under staffed that day, they were excellent. Quick and speedy service. They catered to my son's milk allergy and were all round really friendly. The establishment itself was very well presented and had a good child's play area. Will be visiting again!

Great place to stop over for dinner on our way home from Cornwall yesterday. Venue spotless, staff all lovely, service excellent. Food was amazing and reasonably priced too. Will definitely go back next time we are passing through which is about 4 times a year. Forgot to photograph the food but was really taken with the light fitting and the vase of flowers.

Been twice now and the food has been excellent both times. My wife and I visited midweek for lunch. The staff were very accommodating, the atmosphere was great. The Sunday Dinners are very good, presented well on the plate. We visited as a group of three families, we were seated together and the food arrived together. Chalkhill Blue is fast becoming one of my favourite places to visit.

To celebrate a 70th birthday meal a couple of request and it was no hassle, Wow incredible meal mixed grill as you asked for, warm welcoming to the place music in background really relaxing environment staff so friendly and willing to talk instead of rushing off big shout out to Daniel and Tracey and their team definitely will be returning also like to mention the outside is nice and tidy give the place a good feeling

Superb. Certainly one of the better Marstons Pubs. Staff teams are reasonably coordinated. Tracy is a fantastic Assistant manager, very accommodating. One of our prime servers, jake, was very enthusiastic. Lovely young lady, with reddish hair, was very knowledgeable about the cocktails and offered very good suggestions when the others in my party wasn't sure what to drink. Food was hot and tasty, served within a respectable amount of time. Will be returning.

Our experience at chalk hill blue was friendly, warm and welcoming from the moment we set foot through the door. Lydia, our server, was very informative and executed her server duties to a high standard. Lydia was professional, patient and polite with good knowledge of the menu. The food was fantastic, it came out piping hot and fresh with lots of flavour and generous portion sizes. The pudding was also well presented and everything came out within a good amount of time. The premises was cl an, warm and open.

We had visited previously but haven't been back in a couple of years as the service wasn't up to scratch very slow and a few things on the menu not available. It's our anniversary today and I wanted to give it another try as the latest menu looked nice. Such a great experience this time. The food was great, a couple of criticisms but nothing to stop us coming back. My husband had the Buttermilk Chicken burger and he felt it needed more chicken. I had a kebab and it was missing the pomegranate seeds described on the menu, which I think would have been the freshness it was missing. Our server, Suzie, was excellent and gave suggestions when asked. The food came out quickly and was hot and delic...
