"... is one of the best restaurants in bregenz. the location in the casino makes the entry a little complicated - you must register with ID and as a man wearing a sakko - the restaurant itself is a recommendation. we were on a Sunday evening, so little was done and the staff was very attentive and competent. all the courts we had were excellent, even if inexpensive - for buzzing conditions - in the top third. the portions are small, for men with hunger I therefore recommend at least two passages. my wife has praised the cocktails, especially the house aperitif. Moreover, the restaurant has a large and wonderfully located terrace (directly at the play area with direct view of the playhouse), but which is always fully booked during the playful season. after initial annoying about the unexpectedly complicated entry procedure, the evening in the falstaff was very nice and kulinarally really enjoyable."

since the change of the chef, you can really go to the falstaff with joy and high expectations. the restaurant management and the service manager are excellent and can finally keep the kitchen.

located in the casino so that they must have their id with them and register before they enter the casino and if they have no jacket, they must have one, very old fashioned, especially since the restaurant is not so up. that was eating...ok, but nothing to return.

i been here a few times already. All the times the food was really good. The service staff is also very nice! problem I find is the long wait till you registered to get in. Also the design of the room is a bit dated....But never the less I would strongly recommend eating here! Voir le carte

my wife and I had the absolute pleasure of eating here before I went to the opera at the lake. the ambiente, the personal and the eating were amazing. I had steactare for the first time and it wasn't disappointed. we also tried the mushroom...pasta dish as well as steak medaillon. they highly recommend going to this restaurant when they are in the opposite. in any case one of my favorites.

this is not one of the restaurants they visit regularly (at least not without a healthy disposable income), but our visit was for a special occasion and the culinary experience just added the right amount of pampering. the waiting employees followed and led us discreetly... from aperitif to the table and offered really thoughtful advices via the imaginative menu. the meals were presented with artistic flour and both saw and tasted.

as 2 years ago we were again to eat before the performance in the falstaff and this time we were extremely satisfied, both with the food itself and with the extremely friendly service! Not only the welcome but the competent service was simply super and the wee recommendation excellent! our top is a profi and that you find - unfortunately - no longer so often!The ambiente is very good and we felt all around well. because of the weather we sat in this time and also we liked it.For us, the falstaff will be the culinary start again in 2019 if we enjoy it on the rigoletto sea stage! if you are reserved for a meal at the falstaff, you can leave your car standing on the casino parking lot for free during the performance on the sea stage. there are 3 different Festivals, of which we had two different with 4 courses each for 73 or 79 euro. very beautiful presentation, well prepared, the main aggling also quite well portioned. very good also the fresh rolls and especially the homemade grain sack bread. great wine card with more raised but still acceptable trips, the red veltliner by fritsch for eur 45. very nice service, which also gives you an equipment bag for the performance: rainy hangings, seat cushions, poncho - great and a super service!

spontaneously we decided to have dinner in the falstaff. the reception was very friendly and uncomplicated. we were allowed to take our place on the really great and successful "cloud" terrace. the service was great, very attentive and open to any wish and excitement that were also fulfilled from the kitchen.The card is varied and for everyone what was involved.We then finally let ourselves be guided by the "8-course surprise menu" through the evening. Just fantastic! the selection, fresh and quality of the feeds of seasonal and regional products were simply a taste experience.Culinary delights for eye and eye - you can look forward to eating!The entire team is doing a great job!We are sure...

"Another entry into the list of Things that are Awesome about Austria, in a small town (a suburb of Bregenz, essentially that is part of the eastern Bodensee resort scene. We showed up without a reservation, and were seated in the pleasant garden, the tables far apart to ensure privacy in conversation and discreet movement by the staff, always a good sign in a better restaurant. We were offered a refreshing shot of watermelon juice at the start good, although more usual between dishes in a longer menu. We started with seafood: a superb combination of tuna, greens, and veal (unexpectedly good, and the preparation of the tuna put to shame many establishments supposedly specialising in seafood ; and an octopus based dish, which did not enthral Mr A, who objected to the combination with mussels. (Is this a central European thing? The closer you go to the Mediterranean, the simpler the serving of octopus: it has a delicate flavour, and does not require much done to it. If it had been served as in the other starter, it would be better, he said. For our mains we went for rib eye steaks with chimi churry (sic which we both found excellent: cooked to a perfect medium rare, with just the right amount of bite in the centre too often restaurants do a medium rare with the core of the meat nearly raw, which misses the point: a good medium rare locks the flavour in; if you slice it and too much seeps out, it's not done properly. Mr A declared the accompanying skin on potatoes were very good. I should have asked why the beef was imported from the US; Austria has amazing local beef (the Vorarlberg pastures are just round the corner! . We finished off with a delicate combination of chocolat,e pistachio, and cherries (for myself and an caloric explosion of ice cream and hot chocolate for Mr A. The Merlot recommended was just right for the meat, the espresso was decent, and the service was excellent. The prices are on the expensive side: our three course meal with only two glasses of wine and a soft drink cost as much as I'd expect the same meal with a whole bottle of good wine to cost. But, hey: you get what you pay for, and this was worth it. We'd go again, happily."
