I'm sure it's a nice restaurant overall, but it doesn't really qualify as an Indian restaurant. The Diwali meal felt like a Sainsbury's ready-made kit, accompanied by frozen roti. The ambiance was lovely, but unfortunately, the food didn’t meet expectations. Food: 1, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 5.

The Chicken Shish at Casbah Italian Turkish Restaurant Bar was absolutely delicious! The tender, chargrilled chicken cubes were perfectly seasoned and the salad was a refreshing accompaniment. For our starters, we ordered the seafood gratin and garlic bread with mozzarella from the Italian menu. My wife enjoyed the gratin, but the cheesy garlic bread, while tasty, didn’t justify its £7 price tag; it tasted like a slice from a standard supermarket loaf. For our main courses, we opted for dishes from the Turkish menu, which were excellent. The portion sizes were generous, and the meals offered good value for money. My wife had the Lamb Chops, and I tried the Mixed Shish, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed.
