"As a dedicated vegan who travels worldwide, I'm always on the lookout for non-vegan restaurants that can accommodate me as well as non-vegans dining with me, although I appreciate it's not always easy or even possible (so I always carry my own food). That's why I was delighted and grateful to discover CASA TOSCANA in Pottsdam, Germany! (Note: This city has two restaurants with this name. I'm reviewing the one at Charlottenstrasse 83.)This elegant but cosy corner restaurant graciously prepared and served me (and my non-vegan husband) one of THE best pizzas I've ever had--no cheese, loads of lovely vegetables, and delicious crust and sauce--at our corner window table with white linen tablecloth and romantic candle. Both the maitre d'/waiter and chef had thoughtfull and thoroughly discussed my request with me--and delivered far more than I could have imagined. My husband also loved it.It was a quiet Sunday afternoon (midway between usual lunch and dinner times)--but individuals, couples, and families (many of whom were locals known to the staff) nevertheless appeared. The bar also offered a wide variety of interesting options.I highly recommend this charming restaurant with outstanding staff and top-quality food."

Der Besuch in diesem Restaurant wurde für uns zum Event. Wir hatten reserviert. Der Tisch war besonders schön eingedeckt. Der Service war hervorragend. Wir wurden sehr gut beraten und sehr gut bewirtet.Das Essen war hervorragend. Wir hatten noch nie so gut italienisch gegessen. Wir kommen wieder, ganz sicher.

We had lunch here months ago (October 2016) while on a Viking River Cruise. We are still talking about the wonderful pizza we had. If that isn't the best kudos for a restaurant, we don't know what is! So we had to write a review and say thanks to the staff of this great restaurant. The food and service were wonderful.

Un'ottima cena per due: per antipasto Capesante al forno con asparagi e e asparagi con prosciutto di Parma, poi un Tortellone ripieno di asparagi e parmigiano e Salmone con Cipolle di Tropea caramellate. Come dolce mousse di ricotta con fragole. Tutto perfetto, anche il servizio, gentile e attento. Arrivederci a presto.

The restaurant is located opposite the Bassinplatz of Wilhelm-Galerie. Many years there was a Chinese restaurant. We were recently driven by hunger to try something new, there. At 4 p.m. you can order a salad, pizza oda pasta including a 0.2l soft drink for EUR 5,90, we did this. As an appetizer we shared a rosemary-bone-bread, at the main course there were cannellonies with vegetables and a pizza, both were freshly decorated. The service was nice too.
