The service may not be top-notch, so be prepared for that, but the staff is friendly and honest about it. They acknowledged the shortcomings with a smile and an apology.

Amazing food experience...precisely constructed, classic Italian flavours and with a deep respect for quality...fresh ravioli, intricately crusted lamb cutlets, great wine and made with love. Not to be attempted when in a rush.... Voir le carte

They slave the workers. Went there and applied for a job as a chef and they offered me pounds for a hour shift, it works out somewhere around an hour. They pay the kitchen porter pounds an hour. if you ever wonder why the service isn't that great its probably because the people working there don't have that many reasons to be happy or at least content at work

long walk in the countryside, the opening of an eagerly anticipated parcel from a dear friend. Unfortunately, dining at this restaurant is not one of them. Despite the charming ambiance and friendly service, the long wait times for food and drinks make it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. The food itself was delicious, but the slow service greatly impacted our overall satisfaction.

‘Italian tapas’ is a recent invention of London’s restaurants and a prerogative of Venice only in Italy. Here it is done with inventiveness and good ingredients. How can stuffed mushrooms be amazing? But they were and so was the duck spread and the tagliatelle spinach and almonds. One criticism to the menu was the lack of meat/fish dishes (only 2 amongst 20sh). Service was attentive. The place is cosy as all Brixton village restaurants are but the owner should sort out the extractor fan because by the end of the dinner our eyes were read from the fumes coming from the kitchen and the clothes totally smelly.
