"actually I'm not that kebab fan - abe rhier it's really delicious. on the search for a local in losheim we accidentally discovered this locally. you can either eat in the small dining room or also get everything to enjoy. the snakes say a lot about the quality - it speaks around that it is good here. delicious eating, friendly service and good Presi performance, what you want more."

"Wir hatten für 9 Personen reserviert, das war auch nötig, denn es wurden viele spontane Gäste abgewiesen. Wir wurden zügig und freundlich bedient, es war auch überhaupt kein Problem, für die Kinder kleinere Portionen zu bekommen, auch wenn dies nicht auf der Karte angegeben war. Allen hat es sehr gut geschmeckt!"

"Today we made a small trip to the north of Saarland in a rainy but dry weather, to Losheim an See, although our intended destination would have been Lake Bostal. That's it. Actually, we really wanted to feel comfortable in the Hochwälder Wohlfühlhotel with coffee and cake; but was not. Ms. Nahles the SPD-Heroine, would have given Bätschi or another bullshit in her inimitable way. The hotel has no own café and the restaurant opens according to the very friendly lady at the reception only for large groups; a large group we were not at the best will. We didn't want to run to the Maison au lac because too far, and so we landed short-circuited right next to the hotel in the already known high-forest brewhouse . Ambience: brewhouse remains brewhouse, no matter where: plenty of wood, copper brewing boilers, rustic tables and rustic seating, no noise insulation speaks when it is full it is also loud to very loud. Cosy flair as it is to be read here at GG in another review may prevail on weekdays; on days like today, big days for the staff are just too loud and therefore not really comfortable. My drink brought another lady. A male serviceman came to us shortly afterwards, accepted my wife's beverage order and our food order. Another male serviceman brought my wife's drink. I chose 0.5l high forests Hell; really very sinful. A natural beer with 11.4% stem wort and 4.8% alcohol is used exclusively for barley malt as well as for dark donatus, while wheat (the name says yes) is used for wheat and barley malt. The high forest is wild, which is why there is a lot of wild game here, especially wild game, on the menus all around, e.g. in autumn wild weeks, with a total of eight to twelve gastro farms in the region various wild dishes (Rotwild, Reh, Schwarzwild; seldom also offer fieldhase, fasan or vine). In general, the brewhouse moves according to the motto Ebbes of Hei! (something from here) and used in the kitchen only fresh ingredients from the region (exception: shrimp and occasionally saltwater fish). My wife chose wildsalami from domestic hunting, abundantly garnished, with peasant bread (EUR 9,90), I chose Hirschburgeraus domestic hunting, with Pommes Frites, abundantly garnished for EUR 12,50. The salami was very good, the dark peasant bread also and the shrimp as promised abundant. The portion was so big that my wife (we had already eaten at home at noon) made himself a doggy bag with salami and peasant bread. My Hirschburger was delicious. I also liked that he was not cooked but medium with a tendency to rare; I love Burger. The Buns' lid was painted with the same beer jam and the burger rested on three thick tomato slices, which I quickly removed before the burger was consumed, and a cucumber salad bed and the Bun bottom. I've eaten the cucumbers, I'm half the salad. Overall we were very satisfied and I liked to spend three and a half stars for food and drink. Price-performance ratio : for us o.k., three and a half stars. Conclusion: we come back on a normal weekday."

"Wir sind mit insgesamt 9 Personen in Schumachers Scheune gewesen. In der Scheune haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Anfangs hat es ein wenig gedauert, aber mit uns zusammen kamen noch mehr Leute an. Aber danach lief alles sehr gut. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Alle unsere Essen waren sehr gut. Die Salate waren mit einem sehr leckeren Dressing angemacht. Mit Spanferkelkotelett sind Speisen auf der Karte, die man nicht überall findet. Auch der Hirtensalat als Hauptspeise war sehr schön angerichtet. Die Creme Brulee war ebenfalls sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Dieses Restaurant kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Reservierung empfehlenswert."

"Beautiful ambience that unfortunately we were not allowed to enjoy. Our reservation was booked for the wrong day. It was a birthday party. So instead of eating tasty, we were in the area and forced to look for something else. On the side of Bistro it was our fault. Funny, since we had reserved for the Burger Evening... Everyone can be mistaken, but as we were saved here was not nice."
