I like the place, it is a cozy place, it has a good service of very friendly and attentive waiters, some delicious tapas that we also have tried, a very rich wine, we will come back and try different tapas.

the casa mendoza is an absolute enrichment in the neighbourhood and has earned at least 4.5 stars. fine tapas, great with lemon peel flavored fresh brot, tasty rioja and an authentic atmosphere, all clean, friendly and fast, heart what you desire more. we'll be coming more often!

the local is pretty, spanish, cheesy, but eating has not much to do with spanies.It is not only enough to name the tapas spanish, you should also use a flavor and if everything tastes the same, this also does not testify to much imagination.First and last visit, as the priese are too high for the offered.

the tapas are nothing special: e.g. chop meatballs in tomato sauce or cartoffels with garlic cream are not culinary highlights. a Spanish menu, on which you have to translate everything from a visibly grained service. the chef is also bored. the prices are raised, there are 3 weine that cost either 4, 6 or 8 euro the glass. we had to wait 45 minutes for the tapas peels. after two disappointments certainly not again.

I cannot understand the very bad reviews.
