This place blew my mind. Cosey atmosphere, attentive service, INSANE food that tastes like actual Italian food and beautiful little touches... I stayed here for one night and they made it feel like home for me. 110% recommend for food and for staying, absolutely bang on in every way. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a Pasta Night event at the Caravelli restaurant with a group of 16 people. Massimo and his team considered all our requirements and did their best for us to have a wonderful dinner. Encouraging to see a restaurant busy mid week, we called in on the off chance and were seriously impressed. The Leicestershire area has been missing a decent Italian since the old owners of Ferraris retired. Every dish that came out the kitchen was piping hot, superbly presented and what we tried all tasted fresh. Make sure you leave room for dessert the Tiramisu was stunning Drink prices are very reasonable along with a friendly team of staff. Highly recommend

Such a lovely restaurant and hotel. We stayed the night here in a gorgeous spacious room which was very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant for dinner ordering garlic mushrooms and antipasti as starters and seafood pasta and lasagna for our mains. Food was delicious but the garlic mushrooms were exceptional Service was lovely. We had breakfast included with our room which was served in the restaurant. It was a buffet including cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurt selection, toast with Jan's marmalade plus coffee and tea. All was very fresh and you could eat as much as you want Would recommend both the hotel restaurant

Where to start, the food was exceptional, the restaurant homely yet stylish, and the staff were polite, attentively, and extremely friendly. We dined here for my Mother 's 60th, and Caravelli did not disappoint; they even brought out cake and candles, and sang to her (with a guitar). Every member of our group raved about the quality of their meal afterwards, and the silence when the food arrived said it all. The prices were medium to high, but fair for the high quality.
