Excellent value for money! The £45 menu is of Michelin quality, featuring delicious Italian-French fusion dishes. The presentation is exceptional, and the service is top-notch. For London standards, it's truly amazing!

Outstanding! We enjoyed the six-course menu, and every dish was memorable—perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. There wasn't a single misstep. The coffee was also delicious! This is a fantastic place to celebrate a special occasion. This was our second visit, and we hope it won't be the last!

Well deserved 5 stars. It’s been a long time since a restaurant beat our (high) expectations in cooking. All the flavors as well as the presentation were impeccable. Service is a very high standard, efficient but personable. And we very much enjoyed the wines with the sommelier making great suggestions and happy to spend time understanding what we were looking for. Caractère should be high up anyone’s list.

I visited for a special occasion, and it felt like the host anticipated our needs. The service was impeccable, with very friendly and professional staff. The tasting menu was delightful, and the food was beautifully presented (see photos below). It offers great value for the quality of food, location, and ambiance. I've already recommended it to friends who live far away. I have a feeling they may be on their way to earning a Michelin star!

When you arrive at the extremely aptly named restaurant ‘CARACTÈRE’, the sense of the character of this place begins before you even walk through the door. Closed shut and almost a little unwelcoming looking this creates an element of mystery. After you walk through the door you are greeted by the extremely attentive and friendly staff who will show you to the table and walk you through the very creative menu. We opted for the 3 course A La Carte which is reasonably priced at £78, especially given the location and quality. The waiters asked if we wanted an apéritif and swiftly delivered it with ‘pleasure’.
