"I've been here many times over the years and for me it's always been a bit hit and miss. Yesterday was probably one of the worst Meals I've ever had starting with the poppadoms which had 4 what seemed fairly fresh then one stale one at the bottom of the pile which I complained about explaining that these cost pennies so why bother. For my starter I had a Tandoori lamb chop which turned out to be sragg of lamb which is not a lamb chop and I should know as I've been a butcher for 43 years.we also had 3 different meat Currys for our mains and they all tasted the same even the rice tasted stale. The side vegetable dishes were inedible. We had 4 beers 1 coke 1 desert and the bill was £140. My friend eats there every week and swears by the place. I thought it was awful. Great service by dedicated staff. Good was overall average. Atmosphere was good as this is not a loud place. You can actually talk to people in your party without having to scream like some places I could direct you to. Parking can be difficult as it is by the station with limited availability. However, if you do find a spot in the evening, it's free which is a bonus.
