"We have visited Escalipatxo twice this summer and we were very pleased both times. This a very simple but nice place located in the main square of la Bisbal. The food is excellent and very reasonable. The first time we had home made nuggets for my son, an hamburger, a tomato salad (amazing) and some pasta with sea food, everything very nice. The second time we went on a Thursday where they have a menu at lunch time with paella for 15euros. Someone who knows la Bisbal and the area very well had strongly recommended the rice. And she was right. It was the best we had in the whole summer. It is a rice with both meat and fish, a bit stronger than the usual paella, but very tasty and really good. Amazing discovery. We will definitely be back, and if you decide to go I advise you to book in advance, particularly in the summer. Also, just in case you like live music, they organize concerts at lunch time many Saturdays during the summer. Kind of Hard rock music so if you don't like this avoid those Saturdays. But if you do, you cannot miss it. The whole square is dancing and the atmosphere (100% local) is quite unique."

"vienen con el positivo, la terraza es espectacular muy grande, frondoso y fresa. el servicio muy bien, muy atento y rápido. regular, platos que sirven, digamos que las carnes correctas, salchichas y algunos pescados a la parrilla, es bueno pero no sucede. el malo, porque siempre está lleno y en agosto mucho más. tienes que llamar unas horas antes para reservar, si no, una larga lista de espera. por la tarde se abre a las 19:30."

"Fui a visitar el pueblo de Peratallada y al mirar gogle salía éste restaurant. Estaba lleno pero la verdad es que no me extraña. Se come de lujo. Camareras muy amables y estancias de 10. Baños muy limpios y comida muy buena. Me queda un poco retirado de donde vivo pero seguro que haré otra escapada solo por volver a comer allí. En ésta segunda ocasión el servicio ha sido muy muy lento, he ido con reserva pero como siempre estaba lleno. Si vais por la zona a mí personalmente me ha conquistado el sitio. Pero es mucho más acogedor dentro que fuera."
