"My husband and I just returned to our hotel after having dinner at Calistro. It was absolutely delicious! We were looking for something different after weeks of eating the typical Florentine beef and pasta, etc. This place did not disappoint! (It has vegan and gluten free options too. The Tortelloni (a regional ravioli stuffed with mashed potatoes and topped with a choice of several different savory toppings were excellent, and the special Pasticc was creamy with savory ham and peas. The best part, however, was the special Falaguit, a homemade falafel burrito. I can honestly say it was the best falafel wrap I have ever had! The vegan sauce was amazing! It was so good, that my husband and I ordered one to split, and then immediately ordered another. We are already talking about coming back to eat here next year! The husband and wife team that own this place were incredibly charming and welcoming. We can’t wait to visit Calistro again."

I have the vegan Tortelli alla lastra. The food is good, but the proportion was small compared to the price. 13€ for 2 Tortelli is not worth it. Don't bother to visit there.

excellent experience! stunned on this unique restaurant and had for the first time delicious tortellis (grigio marylou.) our waitress was also very friendly, helpful and patient as we have learned the kitchen.

The atmosphere is incredible! The owner are there making sure everything is perfect. The food is even better than the atmosphere and the people working there. I would recommend it to any vegan person looking to eat something extremely tasty and at an affordable price.

my wife and I have a nice afternoon here with drinks, a bite to eat and chat. the owners are a few who come from outside of florence and use a lot of ingredients from where they come from in food and drinks. her abeto her version of the spray is very good! we also enjoyed eating and the owners were very patient with our poor Italian (her English is quite good) and gracious.
