"Booked a table for two. It was a Tuesday evening so it was quiet. The waitress was really helpful and made wonderful suggestions. We started with cocktails and then moved over onto the staters. Followed by steak and the short rib. This was truly well presented and melted in one’s mouth. A bottle of white recommended by the waitress helped it on its way. Truly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

Westerham has several restaurants and pubs to choose from. And Calissa is one of the best I've been to. Great food menu to choose from, including pizza,pasta,fish, and meat. I can personally recommend the pork belly with mash potatoes absolutely delicious. The service was second to none, which made our visit more enjoyable. Highly recommended. Service: Dine in

Fantastic food, scratch made. And lovely server. We had a large party and we all throughly enjoyed the food, including the 3 kids. Great place for kids, with a 3 course menu for kids. Beautiful decor and great music. Vegetarian options: Noticed many starters main dishes that are veggie friendly. We personally had the halloumi, dips with homemade bread and the Greek pasta dish. Kid-friendliness: High chairs available, little set menu for kids

"Moved to area recently and thought we would try pub for a quick lunch whilst working from home not terribly impressed pub smells of old oil due to lack of extraction or filters not cleaned sat in garden with our dog and as there were only 4 people in garden (no sun shade on any tables) we let him off lead he’s a 14 year old Westie (so of course terrifying to others) he wandered over to the dog bowl and we were immediately told to put him back on lead by this time we were the only people in the garden everyone locally we have spoken to warned us off this pub and we wanted to give them benefit of the doubt, but with the lack of sparkling water (acted like this was a weird thing to ask for in 2023) and the food menu being circa 1982 we will not be returning nor will our dog this community pub has all the bones of a great pub, fab sized garden, centre of the village but it needs a shake up and a move to modern pub culture it could be amazing and the heart of this village but it’s far from it and it’s very disappointing."

"We went here as a family of 4 after going to the cinema. We had a fabulous meal. One thing that really stands out is the way they handled the nut allergy my daughter has which was amazing. We were a bit disappointed the scallops weren’t available however were happy with the prawns, bao buns and haloumi. For mains we had 2 half lobsters, prawns and pulled burger all of which was well cooked and tasty. The service and staff here are super friendly and attentive. We will be back and most probably for a Saturday brunch which sounds amazing! Dietary restrictions: Very good with nut allergies"

"Was sadly disappointed by this place, Squerryes of Westerham, its estate and winery conjures up history, elegance and quality. There is no I quality here, in fact its more of an industrial estate than a beautiful estate, the staff are badly trained and the front...of house manager is as absent as someone on strike. We saw a poor member of staff drop a full tray of food and drinks on customers, the manager looked and hey presto he was absent and off rather than assist the poor young chap and apologise to the guests for the drinks and food down them. Now for our food, for the prices we paid its poor value. Mozzarella that was too hard (not fresh) and lacklustre potted shrimps. My wife did enjoy the mussels for main course but the sauce lacked flavour, my steak £36 ! was not cooked to my order, very dry and chewy, the chips and salad were good. So that starters and main course for two people , two small glasses of wine and two half pints of beer £124.30, I thought we were in London for a minute. This could be a great place if staff training in and outside the kitchen were improved and proper management installed and better value food. We had a wonky table also no amounts of cardboard could solve but that was good enough for the restaurant not fixing our table properly. Reading the reviews management only replies to positive reply’s , wish I had read the reviews before booking."

"Delicious burgers, the bandit, deep smokey south and 3 kids beef burgers with skinny fries. We also had mac and cheese, k wings with hot sauce, chicken bites, courgette fries and coleslaw. We also had really yummy vanilla and oreo milk shakes.. very good. My boys loved the arcade machines downstairs. The restaurant seemed very clean. Service was very attentive. We were the only table there but possibly because it was at on a sunny sunday at 3ish so not really lunch time or dinner time. ... nevertheless, we still enjoyed being at the restaurant. Good music, nice ambience. Will come again!"
