La comida deliciosa, el trato súper bien, y un ambiente y entorno natural que se disfruta tomando una copa o el café.

Una masía reconvertida en restaurante, comida excelente, servicio excepcional y calidad/precio correcto. Volveremos y evidentemente lo recomiendo.

Buen sitio, aunque un poco escondido, faltaría poner un letrero en la entrada más grande para ver el desvío. Por lo demás, un buen sitio para pasar un buen rato y degustar un buen plato. La cua de bou muy buena. Calidad precio aceptable.

The highlight of this place is the atmosphere and the food. One of the best meals I've eaten in Catalonia, and I've been here for 24 years! Service a bit too relaxed, but if you are eating there over the weekend, that doesn't matter at all

Siempre de 10. Es la 4-5 que vengo y en todas la calidad y el servicio ha sido excelente. En el día de hoy he de resaltar la profesionalidad y buen hacer de Roberto y Marc, dos profesionales de las que ya no quedan. Un restaurante para repetir una y mil veces.

Molt bon restaurant de cuina casolana, ambient molt agradable i amb molt caliu sobretot en temporada de fred, la llar de foc del menjador principal és espectacular. Tot el personal que ens va servir durant el día (vam fer dinar i sopar) van ser molt agradables! Recomanable 100

10/10. No tinc queixa de res. Portava temps volent anar-hi i la setmana passada vaig anar-hi. Des de llavors hi he anat dos cops. Tant el primer com el segon un tracte excel.lent i un menjar exquisit. Els canelons de la iaia brutals, i el filet de vedella i el txuleton de vaca madurada son imprescindibles. De postre recomano el volca de turro xixona. Se’ns dubte repetirem. El vi de la casa molt bo!

We have been i many Restaurant all over Europe but this place was and stays the Best . The old Masia was renovated with love by the Owner and you can see and feel his passion. Some of the wine is also made by him and delicious as is the Food cooked by his wife . Returning Customers are greeted hola familia and in the whole region this is an insider secret . I would drive 1500 km to go again , some of the dishes we still dream of them .

Cal Frare is a restaurant located on road in the little town called Castellfollit del Boix, between Igualada and Manresa, in the center of Catalonia. It is a big Masia (house on land , where you can eat some local and modern dishes. We came here and shared 3 dishes: foie, cured ham with figs and scallops with beans (wonderful! as first dish, and a big steak as second dish. Also we ate a little cake (as a brownie as dessert and we shared two bottles of homemade wine (a sweet one and a dry one . Very good. Pitifully, we had to wait almost 30minutos to ask for the dishes and we have three coffees in the bill, that we do not ask for. Two small mistakes! (if not, I rate 5/5 this restaurant
