Normally go to one of those chain coffee shops when I’m in Newcastle, but thought I would try Caffe Java for a change and wow ! It’s so much better ! Great coffee, friendly efficient service, and lower price ! Definitely going there from now on !

I love going to Java Lisa, she is very friendly and always remembers what I like to drink. I enjoy sitting outside and people-watching. In addition to great coffee, she makes delicious paninis and cakes. I will definitely be back next week to support this local business.

We have a couple of the big chain coffee shops in Newcastle but Caffe Java has that real little European Café feel. Small and friendly but with a surprisingly decent amount of seating inside and out. The food is great as is the coffee and the staff. My favourite place for a coffee in Newcastle under Lyme.
