"Exceptional Culinary Experience From the very moment we contacted Cumai to reserve a table, it was a very personal experience. María emailed to confirm our reservation and welcome us to her restaurant. On arrival for our reservation, which was the last evening of what was an absolutely fantastic holiday, we received a very warm welcome from María. Both the exterior and interior decor of the restaurant, is to a very contemporary and very high standard, one which would not be out of place on a UK cosmopolitan city centre high street. The restaurant is immaculately clean, with fresh flowers on the table and fresh, clean table clothes. Cumai has a fantastic wine cellar, which houses an abundance of wines, both local and international, which we were very impressed by. Having browsed through what looked to be a delectable menu, we chose the taster menu, which consisted of 5 savoury and 2 dessert dishes, which there may have been more of, but this was all we could more than satisfy ourselves with. Each time we were served, María explained the main ingredients, which made our dining experience incredibly personal, special and memorable. Each course boasted prime local produce, served with such attention to detail, passion and flare and seasoned to perfection. We could have easily have been sat in a Michelin Star restaurant, to which Cumai already has two incredible stars, María and Curro. To think Cumai is run by only a husband and wife team, is beyond imagination and expectation, which more than demonstrates their strong personalities and passion for what they do, kudos to them both. Cumai captures the very essence of love, happiness, exquisite fine dining, which is very reasonably priced, served with a priceless level of service. We highly recommend Cumai and will definitely return. Steve and Cheryl."

"the fame of premium meats and fresh grilled fish is well deserved. perfect points, excellent local fish. well selected meat cuts. an apetecible letter from beginning to end.Chart and authentic Canarian atmosphere with a quality plus that makes it the perfect place to know the gastronomy of the island. friendly and very professional service. to start a delicious toasted hot bread in the grill with different sauces -aguacate, alioli and almogrote- to untar and start in a magnificent way a fresh and local food: plyed octopus and fish with potatoes and mojo. traditional décor with beautiful sea views in a silverware area near the beach of the Bollullo. If there's rice with milk in so sweet suggestions, it's your lucky day!"

"No sabíamos muy bien a dónde ir aquel fin de semana y surgió este local muy acogedor en Santa Úrsula dedicado a la cocina italiana. El risotto de remolacha es una verdadera delicia, impresionante, untuoso. También pedimos una ensalada tibia de calamares muy rica y abundante. Su vinito, su pan, y un ambiente tranquilo para pasar un buen rato en pareja o con familia."

"Sitio tradicional, se acerca bastante al mal utilizado actualmente terminó de “Guachinche”, el vino tinto aceptable, el afrutado correcto. La comida bastante rica en general, con una chuleta de cerdo pueden comer dos personas, una especial mención al postre , la tarta de tres leche está de chuparse los dedos. El personal amable con una atención correcta. Algo difícil de aparcar en la zona. Service: Dine in"

"my partner and I went to eat this guachinche guided by internet opinions. great success! typical canaria food. We order potatoes with egg and chorizo, gofio, cheese with wet, cream of vegetables, mushrooms empanados and croquetas varied, all very good! and with the option of customize as my boyfriend is vegetarian (e.g. half a dish of potatoes with chorizo and half without). very good service, and very flexible and friendly staff to find! also very sympathetic and eager to explain the dishes, ingredients to give us information about the. typical of the area. also we ask for wine also of the area, white and red, two great quality-price, we ate very well and for a very affordable price. many thanks, to repeat!"
