"Exceptional Culinary Experience From the very moment we contacted Cumai to reserve a table, it was a very personal experience. María emailed to confirm our reservation and welcome us to her restaurant. On arrival for our reservation, which was the last evening of what was an absolutely fantastic holiday, we received a very warm welcome from María. Both the exterior and interior decor of the restaurant, is to a very contemporary and very high standard, one which would not be out of place on a UK cosmopolitan city centre high street. The restaurant is immaculately clean, with fresh flowers on the table and fresh, clean table clothes. Cumai has a fantastic wine cellar, which houses an abundance of wines, both local and international, which we were very impressed by. Having browsed through what looked to be a delectable menu, we chose the taster menu, which consisted of 5 savoury and 2 dessert dishes, which there may have been more of, but this was all we could more than satisfy ourselves with. Each time we were served, María explained the main ingredients, which made our dining experience incredibly personal, special and memorable. Each course boasted prime local produce, served with such attention to detail, passion and flare and seasoned to perfection. We could have easily have been sat in a Michelin Star restaurant, to which Cumai already has two incredible stars, María and Curro. To think Cumai is run by only a husband and wife team, is beyond imagination and expectation, which more than demonstrates their strong personalities and passion for what they do, kudos to them both. Cumai captures the very essence of love, happiness, exquisite fine dining, which is very reasonably priced, served with a priceless level of service. "We came for food and it was absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable! We was hoping to have a paella but they didn’t have any mussels, but instead of being left disappointed they made us up a paella special, by Jarnier, and it was the best we have had (I went with my boyfriend who’s family is from Tenerife so they know there stuff! . Santiago looked after us and was extremely attentive and friendly 5 stars! Venimos a comer paella y mariscos, pero no tenían mariscos. Con lo que tenían disponible (pulpo, pescado y langostinos , nos prepararon una paella especial que fue increíble, que fue preparada por Jarnier. Fui con mi novio y su familia que es de Tenerife (La Orotava . Estamos acordados que es la mejor paella que hemos comido en muchos años. Santiago fue muy atento y amable. ¡Nos lo pasamos pipa!"

"No sabíamos muy bien a dónde ir aquel fin de semana y surgió este local muy acogedor en Santa Úrsula dedicado a la cocina italiana. El risotto de remolacha es una verdadera delicia, impresionante, untuoso. También pedimos una ensalada tibia de calamares muy rica y abundante. Su vinito, su pan, y un ambiente tranquilo para pasar un buen rato en pareja o con familia."

"La comida y el servicio, inmejorable. El ambiente algo ruidoso y un poco ajetreado, pero está claro que es por lo popular que es este sitio, por su inmejorable calidad precio en el pescado fresco que ofrecen. Tuvimos que esperar 15 minutos y fue algo aburrido, pero tiene unos bancos exteriores para esperar el turno, que están bien."
