"This restaurant offers a dedicated menu page for vegan and vegetarian options, which I appreciated during my two visits in one week. I dined here for lunch and dinner, trying the Impossible poultry sandwich and the 1807 Fregan burger, both of which were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Impossible poultry sandwich. The drinks were also tasty and the staff was very friendly. Overall, I had a great dining experience at this restaurant in Linlithgow."

Was stopping off for couple of hours on coach trip. Ordered the large breakfast which was hot when it arrived. Staff were very friendly and place was very clean and dog friendly as well. Would definitely recommend and would call in again if I was traveling through town.

I ordered the baked potato with Scottish Cheddar, which was served with a side salad. The potato was delicious. The restaurant offers gluten-free options for most sandwiches and baked potatoes, but the server recommended avoiding the chili and pulled pork toppings to prevent cross contamination. The waitstaff was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu.

The restaurant was bustling, which is a good sign. The food was good, although a bit dry. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Outdoor seating was pleasant, although some tables were unstable. However, the staff provided special table stabilizers upon request. The price for three burgers and three soft drinks was around £50. this place was really good, the cocktails list is the best I have seen, and it is in mind order; wodka, rum, gin, sparkling whisky order. eating was really good, lasting gluten not milk options as well as vegan, the kitchen is very flexible in adapting the intolerance options. this is a really good place and books fast, so highly recommended and I would definitely be back.

I have dined at this restaurant once and have not yet had the opportunity to try many menu options. I enjoyed a delicious baked potato and gluten-free cheesecake. I am aware that the restaurant also owns The Granary cafe next door, where I have dined multiple times. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, offering gluten-free bread and the ability to adapt dishes. It is also a great spot for evening cocktails.

"I had made a reservation for 2:00 PM, and upon arrival, we opted to sit in the beer garden because it was such a warm day. We were informed that we needed to order and pay for our meals inside, which was fine. Inside, we were handed two menus. I had been raving to my friend about the amazing pizzas they serve, so we were disappointed to find out that those are only available after 5:00 PM. However, there are plenty of other delicious options on the menu, so we decided to go with burgers— I chose the Highlander and my friend went for the chili burger. We let the waitress know we’d like to sit outside, which was no problem. However, I found it a little odd that we had to carry the jug with the numbered wooden spoon, along with the condiments and cutlery, to our table ourselves. It would have been nice to be shown to a table and have the necessary items placed there for us. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, and we were not disappointed—the burgers were fantastic and the portion sizes were quite generous. My friend thought the chili on their burger had a flavor that leaned a bit too much toward tomato sauce, but that’s just personal preference. After finishing our meal, we ended up chatting for about 45 minutes, during which our dirty plates were left in front of us as no one checked on us since the food was served. This might be something management could improve upon. Would I return? Absolutely! It’s a lovely place for drinks on a summer evening, and the food certainly competes with the best. A few tweaks could enhance the experience, like making diners feel less like they might be hastily heading out without paying, and ensuring staff return to the table during diners' stays. Also, it would be nice if diners weren’t expected to carry their cutlery to the table. I hope the owners take these small criticisms in the spirit they are intended."
