We stopped in for some pizzas for lunch. Our waiter was a very energetic and friendly guy who spoke very good English. We couldn't finish and took the rest back to the hotel room. While eating, many people came up for the gelato. Don't know...why the cafe was practically empty as we enjoyed it

While strolling around Salzburg looking for a place to eat, we happened upon this lovely outdoor restaurant in a park. It was a beautiful evening and the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine. The menu is not extensive but we shared a salad...and a pizza which were quite tasty. Our server was friendly and attentive a great evening

Hot and tired from a tiring morning of sightseeing,my girlfriend and I wanted an inexpensive cafe for a beer and something not involving sausage or goulash. And we did. Very pleasantly surprised by our very good value bagel burgers with a plentiful mixed salad to...share. Despite it's close proximity to a noisy, busy crossing there's a nice vibe to the place and it's not packed with tourists, like us

Had an amazing morning in Salzburg with my family in law at the Sound of Music Bicycle tour, then we asked our tour gide for a cheap lunch place en she immediately told us of the place around the corner, San Marco. We thought it...was just some café where we could get a sandwich but we walked a bit further and in a second we were on a beautiful spot, it looked very expensive but the prices are very affordable! over, the waiters were very quick and very kind! The food was amazing! I had a sandwich for and it was perfect, the others had other dishes which were also very good and not that expensive. Definitely going back to this place

Went to grab a menu and was abruptly told that it was the old version as it was snatched from my hand. Sat down and my friend set her water bottle on the table to be told that she wasn’t allowed to drink it inside...which doesn’t make sense considering they serve tap water in their dirty scratched glasses. There was no alternative milk options so I couldn’t have the coffee that I liked. As we ordered and waited for our food it felt as though we were being met with judgemental stares from the other waitress. No please or thank you’s in sight. The bagel wasn’t too bad though to be fair. As we went to pay the waitress (short black hair, tattoos) told us that they did not accept card and seemed...

It is really hard to believe that such a lovely city like Salzburg can have in a central area of the city such a bad restaurant. The reviews rating it as "Terrible" and "Poor" are totally accurate. Imagine: afternoon, degrees, very hot and no...rain for several days. My wife and I stop at Cafe Sacher. My wife gets their famous sweets, absolutely delicious. I do not order anything, I am looking forward to a beer at a terrace. And a few minutes later I see Cafe San Marco. What a misfortune... Half of the tables are occupied.
