very good place where they can find the original berliner atmosphere. very good eating especially the carving with the egg above!!!

the **** with mushrooms was delicious and so was the beer on the tape recommended by bartender. the beetle was a bit disappointing. a great place to go back to Voir le carte

Yesterday i did dinner with my girlfriend, the plates are very big, a lot of food, and very good flavor... the only thing is the price of the drink. It's not like the food's price. It's a bit expensive. But is a very nice place!!!!

We walked up this way to get ticket to a concert and ended up dropping in for a espresso and a beer. Loved the cosy feel of this place and planned to come back that evening for the concert but it was packed and could...get in. I loved the tiny doors to the bathrooms

I've eaten and drank here a few times, both with the family and with the business. eating is a good quality German fayre der schnitzel is a special highlight. the beer is good and diverse. Eating and drinks are very cheap...price and the personal friendly and attentive. Voir le carte

Um sich für das Konzert in der max-schmeling-Halle zu stärken, kehrten wir hier ein. Es war gut was los, was leider zur Folge hatte, dass wir sowohl auf die Getränke als auch auf den hähnchen Salat sehr lange warten mussten. Es gab erst auf Nachfrage eine Info, dass die Küche überlastet sei, da der Laden voll ist. Als wir nach Brot vorab fragten, weil wir echt hungrig waren, bekamen wir das gefühlt widerwillig. Ich bin gern bereit, aufs Essen zu warten aber eine Info darüber oder schnellere Getränke stattdessen hätten die Wartezeit etwas versüßt.

During my short stay in Berlin I was surprised by the number of small pubs' throughout the residential areas and most of them seem to be located on a corner. From my observations, it seems these places are very well attended by the locals.. with few foreigners. The Meta Cafe provided a good selection of typical German meals and also some more special Berlin selections. On this occasion, I ordered the Käsespätzle mit Zwiebeln und Kräutern, with some extra ham. The serving was very generous and was also provided with a small salad. Accompanied by the local Berliner Pilsner. The staff were very patient with my basic German language trying to understand a German menu is always fun! I really like...

I believe that I have the correct place here whilst writing this review. Whilst visiting Berlin we first went here for breakfast as recommended to us but they were not serving it that day and we were not hungry enough for a different meal so...just had coffee. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere of the place was lovely. It is like a cross between a pub/bar and a cafe. We did however return one evening for a meal and the food was excellent. My brother had a schnitzel with fried egg and it was huge. He really enjoyed it. I had a goulash and it was very tasty and my husband had a chilli which was also tasty.
