"visited: 2019 12 10. after we were turned away the delays in the brasserie nel (and from a near empty huyschkaemer for no reservation) we just happened about this jewel. Internally it is not a big place, but had a very traditional facility with soft, comfortable lighting I can see that this is a favorite with natives, as it feels like sitting in the front room of a human. despite the size, it has a quite wide selection of meal times and I decided to soap soup, (snert,) which is a thick heap and sink broth with smoked sausage, a traditional plate and very warming in the cold winter months. most of my party said that they prefer this via brasserie nel a greater selection of meals and faster service (but it is a small place), and the prices were much cheaper about 4 7 euro per meal. I asked myself to bring a bigger party later in the week; although they said there was no need to do a booking, the next day when we arrived at lunch, they had reserved a few tables for us. there was a small problem with a meal going away, it was ordered, but not delivered, and when it arrived, the chef also brought a few pots of chips by apology, gave blame with misreading the accusations in all, it was a slight delay, but not really distracting from the total experience. will definitely see to eat here again: it felt very a relaxed place, very welcoming service."

beautiful caffe next to the canal. very romantic and cozy. snacks are good, wine, beer and delicious cocktails. it's not expensive at all. more local than tourist vibe.

A delicious breakfast, the taste wasn't what I'd describe as strong or spicy, it was actually soft, and it goes amazingly well with the calm environment and tranquility of the place and City, the restaurant is in an Amsterdam's typical architecture house,

one of our favorite spots in amsterdam. it is from a park to sit, eat, drink and play the children. the menu is decent with a lot of sandwiches. the salads are huge and provide a filling. they sit down along the canal and watch the boats by, overall great place to sit and enjoy the evening over a beer.

We stopped by here for breakfast and enjoyed ourselves. Pancakes were fresh and authentic. Coffee was yummy. Lots of bacon! Orange juice was freshly made. It's a great location too right on the canal. It's also great for drinks and authentic evening snacks. Grab a table outside in the summer and enjoy! FYI They don't do full dinner. It's conveniently located near local hotels and walking distance to the more central parts.
