"During a few days ' holiday in Weymouth I went to Cafe Blue twice for breakfast, accompanied by my family. Food was plentiful but unexciting. On the second visit (1 Sep 23 I came across the epitome of bad customer service and I felt compelled to write about it here. I mention the exact date in case the owner (the cause! bothers to read reviews and remembers my visit. After our order was taken by a charming young woman I asked her if I could charge my phone. We were seated outside and she pointed me to a couple of sockets inside. As I entered the interior and moved towards one of the wall sockets, a gentleman sitting near the rear asked me what I was doing. To charge my phone . He turned out to be the owner and a grumpy old man. I say this as someone who is pretty old himself, probably even older than he... Basically he said that he hadn 't given permission, whereupon I said I had asked one of the staff members. In short, after saying it wasn 't up to her, he let me plug in my phone. If he hadn 't we would probably left for a nearby establishment with much better service. As I turned to go back outside I overheard him say to the staff that he was paying for the electricity! I must admit I never had any server, landlord or restaurant owner trying to refuse me charging a phone. How much can it cost to charge a mobile phone for an hour? The owner needs a trip to a charm school or, at least a lesson in customer service. If we had stayed in Weymouth longer and for more breakfasts we would definitely not have returned to this cafe."

This restaurant serves the best Full English breakfast in town, without a doubt. As a local resident who has tried numerous places, Cafe Blue consistently stands out as the top choice. The bacon and black pudding are especially delicious.

This cafe is a must to visit, we went here for breakfast on Sunday while on holiday and it was the best breakfast we have had!.. The staff were very attentive and very welcoming.we will definitely be going back there on our next visit to Weymouth. Voir le carte

We come down to Weymouth once a twice a year and always stay in premier inn. It took a while to find a lovely place for breakfast until we stumbled upon blue cafe!!!! It was amazing. Really friendly manager and lady serving. Great food fast. Plenty of options and great value for money. We now come every year and hope to come back later in the year!!! As long as it isn’t a Wednesday when you are shut we will be back!!!!!!! Hopefully to see the same friendly faces!! Which is really what makes a big part of the blue cafe my favourite place for breakfast. There were three of us went and we had the big breakfast I asked to change one item and nothing too much trouble. Thanks Blue team xx

I have visited Cafe Blue a couple of times now and would definitely recommend it. After a week of indulging in food while on holiday, I was craving a simple sandwich without wanting to spend too much money. Cafe Blue was the perfect find! The staff and owner are always welcoming and friendly, and the sandwiches are made fresh with a side of salad and coleslaw. The sandwiches are classic and delicious, filling me up without breaking the bank. Although I have not tried their breakfast, it looks enticing. I appreciate that every time I visit, the restaurant is empty (as I eat lunch early), but soon fills up with other customers who seem to have noticed a satisfied customer and decide to give it...
