"LOCATION 5/5 FOOD 5/5 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 4/5 COMFORT 4/5 Update in July 2019 I have been to this restaurant nearly 10 times and tried most of the food on their menu!! Absolutely love everything!! The servers are the most hospitable when compared to any other restaurants!!! Located by the river side this restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating! Two types of outdoor seating one outside the entrance and the other which is suitable to seat two people is by the riverside! Such a romantic spot in the evening with the night sky! If you don't do okay with a lot of commotion and music better opt for the seating outside the entrance. The outstanding fact about this café is they have a lot of offers.. Like the Happy Hours, varying prices for children below 12 years of age at the breakfast buffet and much more. We ordered, (1) Celona Würst mit Curry which is a big Würst with a lot of French fries, ketchup and mayo. Though this sounds so basic, it was delicious! I would rate this a total 5/5. (2) Radler, a non alcoholic beer, was the best! A total 5/5. (3) Rosso de la Casa is one of the best wines I have ever had! 5/5. (4) Panna Cotta im Glas mit Erdbeertopping would also be a 5/5. (re edit) I visited this place three times after writing this review. Tried multiple items on their menu including burgers as well. All the dishes taste so great!!! Psst! Starting from 6 pm they have an offer where you get a wine for 10 euros and sides. So it's just a great place to kick back after a tiring day (if you are cool with the background music) This is my most favorite place in Nuremberg."

Good place, just in the city center, prices a bit high but the staff is nice and if you can seat near the river you'll have a nice afternoon with nice view. The food is good and the Deserts too

Service was mixed. Very friendly waiter Steve but rude waitress was put off with replacing a wine glass she brought out that had lipstick from prior patron! Food quality is about like Appleby's in the USA... lots (likely too many) of menu options of mediocre quality.

Went for drinks in the afternoon. Was fairly busy which is good to see. We had cappuccinos (they offer soya as an alternative to normal milk), the Kellerbier and Weizen. They have a large seating area outside and a good amount inside. The service was good and the lady serving us was friendly. They take credit cards too.

Café and bar in a very privileged position in the center, by the river. The place is beautifully decorated in wood and earthly tones with soft lighting, discreet music and comfortable sofas and seats. The service was quick and polite (which was a pleasant surprise, after reading the negative reviews here) Extended variety of coffees, cocktails and snacks.

Lately I did not have the luck with places i think. Really did not want to give any bad review… but here we go again because I need to do the review on these frozen dishes we had. We ordered 3 Fitte Schnitte (included poached egg, avocado, and some sauce). If it were just 1 dish got problem, I would not complain, but the 3 dishes were all bad then I have to The egg was okay, but the breads were cold, the sauce seemed like the supermarket version and ESPECIALLY the avocado…. was FROZEN and bland without any seasoning. I hurt my teeth chewing on the avocado because I can feel how icy it was. we really tried to finish the food since the portion was quite small and we did not want to waste foo...
